Honda CB description

I have up for auction a 1971 Honda CB 350 that is in pretty good original condition. The bike runs and rides well. I just acquired this on a trade deal from a friend. It has not been plated since 1985. That is why the mileage is so low for the year. Overall it is a nice bike, but it does have some cosmetic flaws. The chrome on the bike needs a good polishing, and some of it may need to be replaced due to pitting.  The side cover on the right side of the bike is missing. The left handle grip is split. The tires are fair, but should be replaced just to be safe. Just to clarify, this bike has been sitting a while and may need the carbs or points adjusted. I took the bike for a spin up to about 80 mph. It ran good, but for a daily rider, I would go over everything just to be certain. The seat is not split or torn.  The electric start works. All of the lights work. This bike pretty much speaks for itself. It is just a nice old bike that hasn't been molested yet. I have a clear Michigan title in my name. Also, buyer is responsible for bike pickup and transport. Bike must be fully paid before pickup of it. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I know that I have listed a lot of the faults of the bike, but it really is a good bike. I just would like the buyer not to have any surprises. Thank you.

I will only sell to U.S. residents that are in this country at the time of the auction. There is a $250.00 deposit due within 24 hours of the end of auction. The balance will be due within 7 days by either cash, or a United States Postal money order.

Proof: Change chain, gain power

Wed, 22 Jun 2011

Point six of a BHP may not sound like much but, in my book, any gain is a good gain, especially when it’s as simple as changing a chain and sprockets. After all, you're going to have to do it sooner or later when your old chain and sprockets die their death. I’ve always been interested in what gains are available in the drive train.
