Original barn find, a 1970 Honda CB 750.  Baffles have been removed, pipes in very good condition, no rust.  Unstamped, no numbers.  Front fender is not rolled.  Has a few dings (repairable).  Gas tank is wrinkled, has been cleaned and coated with oil.  Petcock needs repaired, works but needs a new screen.  Carbs have been cleaned but could stand it again.  Front brake does not work, mirrors are missing.  Tool pouch in place with part of feeler gauge.  New battery, oil, oil filter, and air filter are new.  Runs good, shifts good, tires are not original and mismatched. Also has a broken rear spoke.

Had bike judged at Wauseon Antique Bike Show and took junior first.  Also Wolverine Antique Motorcycle Chapter 750 Class took first place.

Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!!

The future. But we can't have it

Thu, 10 Nov 2011

It's no secret that we motorcyclists are getting older. We're ageing because less people are passing their bike test each year (roughly 30,000 last year compared to 50,000 for the 10 years before the new two-part test) and so not only is the pool not growing it's not even being replenished and so the average age isn't being diluted down by yoof. When the going gets tough in any situation, you really get to see who's got their shit-sorted and who's light enough on their feet to adapt to change.

Honda Raises MSRP for 2013 NC700X But Lowers Price for DCT Option

Wed, 13 Feb 2013

The big news from Honda last week was the introduction of the new CTX700 and CTX700N cruisers. Flying a little under the radar however was a change to American Honda‘s pricing structure for the 2013 NC700X which sees a price increase for the base model but a price cut for combined anti-lock brakes and a dual clutch transmission Honda introduced the NC700X last year at an impressively low price of $6999 for the base model and $8999 with ABS and DCT. The low price point was one key advantage we awarded the 2012 NC700X over the $7899 Kawasaki Versys in our recent Middleweight Multi-Tool Shootout.

2013 Honda CBR250R Gets Repsol Edition

Tue, 04 Sep 2012

American Honda announced a number of returning 2013 models with new color options but the most eye-catching of the new paint jobs is the Repsol-edition CBR250R. Dressed to resemble Casey Stoner‘s and Dani Pedrosa‘s Honda RC213V MotoGP race bikes, the 2013 Repsol edition Honda CBR250R sports the Spanish petroleum company’s orange with red and white colors, the Honda Racing Corporation logo and the “One Heart” motto of Honda’s Indonesian joint venture which also sponsors the MotoGP team. Completing the look are the Repsol-orange wheels.
