Honda CB description

Almost restored Honda CB450. Running out of time to finish this project. The bike did run before I decided to rewire it. The frame has been sandblasted and powder coated along with all the engine covers. The seat is hand made. It has a gel battery, digital ignition, new rear tire, new engine bolts, rear wheel bearings, and too much to list. Currently not running due to wiring. Pick up only please.

Developed in collaboration with Honda, and the Repsol Montesa Honda Trials team, it’s got a 259cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine designed to compete with smaller two-strokes while producing less emissions. There are two versions, the £5,699 standard 4RT260, aimed at amateur-to-advanced riders, and the more competition-focussed Factory Race Replica version, with Showa suspension, at £6,799.

EICMA 2011: Honda NC700X Unveiled

Tue, 08 Nov 2011

Alongside the Honda NC700S at EICMA comes the NC700X, a “crossover” model with better off-road capability. Like the NC700S, the 2012 Honda NC700X is powered by Honda’s new 670cc parallel Twin engine. Honda designed the engine to be highly efficient, with optimal performance at speeds up to 87 mph and the engine revving up to 6000 rpm, a range Honda’s research found accounts for 90% of an average commuter’s uses.
