Honda K0 CB 750 K - 1970
The bike is in a very good condition and was repainted in the original Candy red color only 2 years ago. Hondo CB 750 was considered by most to be the first mass produced superbike and is today a very sought-after collectibles. It is important to mention that this bike only has run 6313 miles, very impressive for bike from 1970. Purchased in Madison, WI, United States back in 2007. - When the bike was purchased in US, it had brand new OEM Honda HM300 pipes. Since then the bike has only run around 600 miles. - New tires, front and rear. - There is a few areas with rust on the frame: around the battery and swing arm. - The bike runs very well, but the caburator needs some adjustment, to make it run a bit more smooth. - Include the original bracket for the combination switch, if the buyer wants to change the position. It's touching, if a little bizarre. Some of the letter reads:“Unfortunately even the most beautiful love stories finish, but they leave a lot of wonderful memories, like when my M1 and I kissed for the first time on the grass at Welkom, when she looked straight in my eyes and told me ‘I love you!'"Somehow, we can't see Casey Stoner gushing quite as freely when he leaves Ducati for Repsol Honda.

Tue, 17 Jan 2012Buyers spent $4.1 million on rare motorcycles at the inaugural Las Vegas Premier Motorcycle Auction by Auctions America. The auction, held Jan. 12-14 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, featured 490 motorcycles and other memorabilia.
