Honda CB tech info
Honda CB description
I purchased this motorcycle in October 2011 with
2,421 miles. It was in really good condition overall when I bought it, other
than a few chips and scuffs in the paint.
The restoration consisted of complete disassembly and all the parts were media blasted and painted with basecoat clear coat two-stage paint in the original Honda Scarlet Red. It was color matched to an original NOS can of Honda paint. The can as shown in pics is not included in sale. Gas tank coated with Ethanol Resistant Caldwell two-stage Epoxy. Wheels were unlaced, hubs were polished and wheels are re-laced with new spokes. The rims are near perfect with very little patina. The original tires were replaced with Vee rubber and they are period original. Included with the sale are both the original front and rear tires. No rust on the exhaust and side covers and they are in excellent condition. Slight pitting on the front and rear shocks chrome. All the chrome was polished. The engine has had a basic tune-up which included plugs, points, condenser, valve adjustment and timing. The carburetors have been cleaned and all fuel lines are replaced with Honda NOS. The bike starts and runs perfectly and with this low mileage, no mechanical work is needed. All electrical (starter, lights, etc.) is working as it should. The bike is all original except I added two Honda turn signals which required two handlebar switches (1969 CB175). If the buyer prefers, I will remove the turn signals and reinstall the original handle bar switches. The last photo in this ad shows the bike without any turn signals. Also, the wiring harness was NOT altered to install the turn signals. The seat has a NOS installed by the previous owner and is excellent shape. New NOS foot, shift, and kick start rubber. Includes tools and Owners Manual. CASH PAYMENT UPON PICKUP OR BY BANK TRANSFER OR CASHIERS CHECK. FUNDS MUST CLEAR THE BANK BEFORE BIKE IS RELEASED. A
$200 PAYPAL DEPOSIT IS DUE WITHIN 24 HOURS AT END OF AUCTION. PLEASE DON’T BID UNLESS YOU ARE PLANNING ON BUYING.

Brayton took over the lead by the second corner and would stay in front for the first 13 laps.
