Hodaka All description

New old stock steel gas tank for the Hodaka powered Alsport Steen. Tank is 17" long, 7 wide, 5-1/2 tall. Tunnel is 2-1/2" wide, 3" deep in front. Holds 2.5 gallons. The Arctic Cat mini bike petcock that I have in my Ebay store works in the Alsport tank, that is all I have. THESE TANKS WERE NOT THE BEST CRAFTSMANSHIP BACK IN THE DAY. They are new old stock but will need some body work to be perfect. Just wasn't much quality control for whoever built the tanks, they are "wavy". I would recommend rinsing insides out. White paint over spray inside and dirt from sitting with no cap on for years. The cap is not original Alsport but works ok on the tank. They white paint was just like a primer coat or something not good quality. Any questions please ask. Be sure to check my other auctions and my Ebay store for more hard to find items.

A Different Bike Magazine

Motorcycle Retro is a pet project of former Motorcyclist editor Mitch Boehm, launching as Motorcyclist Retro in early 2008 under the Source Interlink media umbrella. It featured a contemporary look at motorcycles of the 1960s through the 1980s. However, the circulation numbers of MR didn’t meet the expectations of the media conglomerate, and they cancelled production of the magazine after just two issues.
