Vintage Hodaka NOS Reed Induction Kit. Hodaka Part # 207020. Fits Wombats, Combat Wombats and Super Rats. The last picture shows a description of the kit from a Hodaka newsletter. The newsletter is not included.
Description reads, HODAKA REED KIT FOR LARGE CARBS Now there is a Reed Induction Kit designed specifically for large-body Mikuni carburetors (28mm - 34mm). The new Reed Valve Assembly bolts easily onto the Hodaka Combat cylinder, the Wombat cylinder and the Super Rat cylinder. No mounting modifications are necessary. The Reed Induction Kit features reed petals made of epoxy resin fiber instead of steel and a new manifold that positions the carburetor at a level angle. |

Thu, 12 Feb 2009Motorcycle Retro is a pet project of former Motorcyclist editor Mitch Boehm, launching as Motorcyclist Retro in early 2008 under the Source Interlink media umbrella. It featured a contemporary look at motorcycles of the 1960s through the 1980s. However, the circulation numbers of MR didn’t meet the expectations of the media conglomerate, and they cancelled production of the magazine after just two issues.
