I am selling my V-Rod to help me fund my other project. This is an awesome motorcycle!! Previously I owned sport bikes (crotch rocket) and this Harley was a nice transition to a real motorcycle. I commute almost 40 miles one way to work in Phoenix and it was awesome the whole way.
This Night Rod is completely stock except for the luggage rack, passenger seat and seat back. The seat back for the passenger has a slight tear in it (see pics) however that is an extra that can be taken off especially if you do not plan to have passengers. The airbox cover has a couple nicks as you can see in the photos. The airbox is normally the gas tank on other bikes, this gas tank is under the seat. If you would like more photos let me know. If you are local feel free to contact me and I can meet up with you so you can view the bike. I prefer local pick up but I can deliver up to 100 miles. If you want it shipped that will be your responsibility to arrange the pick up after full payment has been received. Harley-Davidson Museum Announces Black Leather Jacket Exhibit
Thu, 09 Feb 2012The Harley-Davidson Museum is opening a new exhibit dedicated to an iconic piece of motorcycle culture: the black leather jacket. The “Worn to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket“ exhibit will showcase the ubiquitous article from many riders’ wardrobe.The exhibit includes over 100 artifacts including jackets designed by fashion houses such as Jean Paul Gaultier and Gianni Versace, as well as jackets worn by celebrities such as Elvis Presley. “The leather jacket symbolizes different things for each person who wears it, whether they are a motorcyclist, celebrity or a top designer,” says Bill Davidson, vice president of the Harley-Davidson Museum.
