This is a Harley Davidson V-Rod - Street Rod version in excellent condition. The Street Rod has the foot pegs under the rider with a little less rake, so it handles better than the standard V-Rod models. Runs outstanding with no mechanical or cosmetic issues. It has factory HD custom paint, which sets it apart from most 2006 models, and comes with factory VRSCR saddlebags. The left saddlebag has a slight tear in a seam on the underside of the bag that does not affect function. The windshield is Slipstreamer Stealth and is easily removed. I purchased a factory passenger seat that is wider than stock and more comfortable for the passenger. Comes with the original passenger pillion, mirrors and factory cloth cover. I have included photos with, and without the windshield and saddlebags for reference. Shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer, but I will assist if I can. Aerosmith and Toby Keith to Join Kid Rock as Headliners of Harley-Davidson’s 110th Anniversary Celebrations
Thu, 11 Apr 2013Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Aerosmith and country artist Toby Keith were introduced as headline performers along with the previously announced Kid Rock for Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebration. Each headline concert will be held at the Marcus Amphitheater at the south side of Henry Maier Festival Park (A.K.A. the Summerfest Grounds) in Harley-Davidson‘s hometown Milwaukee.
Harley-Davidson Goes Low for 2015
Tue, 26 Aug 2014Harley-Davidson revealed the new 2015 Electra Glide Ultra Classic Low and Ultra Limited Low, offering what it calls the the lowest seat height of any premium touring motorcycle on the market. Designed with riders 5 feet 7 inches and shorter in mind, the two Low models have a seat height of 25.6 inches from the ground, or 1.7 inches lower than the regular models. The lower seat isn’t the only change to accommodate shorter riders.
2013-2014 Harley-Davidson Breakout Recalled for Faulty Fuel Indicators
Thu, 17 Apr 2014Harley-Davidson is recalling 2013-2014 Breakout models, including CVO versions, because the fuel level indication system may not be properly reading the correct amounts of fuel. As of this publishing, recalls have been announced by government agencies in Australia and Canada; the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has not yet posted a recall but U.S.-based members of the Harley-DavidsonForums.com report American dealerships have already started receiving recall bulletins. According to a recall announcement by Transport Canada, some Breakout and CVO Breakout models may run out of fuel despite the fuel and range indicators indicating there is still enough fuel in the tank.
