One look is about all it takes to tell you this machine inherits the VRSC knack for causing a commotion. But this black sheep gets the stripped-down treatment for even more raw, in-your-face VR attitude. It starts with the same hot rod genetics. 115 hp Revolution engine. Aluminum bodywork. Hydro-formed perimeter frame. Raked fork. But from there, it sheds the shine. With a black frame that surrounds the silver and black powertrain. Of course, the dark theme goes further, with black calipers and brake lines, black hand controls and rear shock springs. The VRSCB model gets finished with a minimalist instrument cluster on an adjustable handlebar. It’s pure VRSC muscle, only more ornery than ever. Marlon Brando Estate Files Suit Against Harley-Davidson
Tue, 17 May 2011Brando Enterprises, an operating entity that protects the Marlon Brando brand on behalf of the actor’s family, has filed a lawsuit against Harley-Davidson. The suit alleges Harley-Davidson used the legendary actor’s name without a license for a leather riding boot called “The Brando”. “It is interesting that Harley-Davidson – a company that is vigorously protective of its own brand – would seek to exploit an iconic property without benefit of a licensing agreement,” says Jeffrey I.
Harley-Davidson Dealers Top 2012 Pied Piper Prospect Satisfaction Index
Mon, 07 May 2012Harley-Davidson dealerships topped the rankings for the 2012 edition of the Pied Piper Prospect Satisfaction Index, an industry benchmarking study examining how well dealerships treat customers, and turning shoppers into buyers. The Pied Piper PSI rated different manufacturers’ dealerships in a number of categories to produce an overall score. The study was conducted between July 2011 and April 2012 with 1,653 anonymous “mystery shoppers” gathering information at different dealerships across the U.S.
