2004 Harley-Davidson VRSCA V-Rod, Low miles - Your eyes are not playing tricks on you. What you’re seeing here is indeed 115 horses of a very different color. The muscle-and-metal-to-the-max VRSCA V-Rod gone tinted. For 2004, we took the aluminum bodywork through the paint booth and came up with some standout shades, including Lava Red Sunglo that’s sure to stop a sidewalk full of pedestrians dead in their tracks. From there, we went further. The perimeter frame has a new sliver-leaf powder-coat for sheen. The overall effect carries on its crowd-drawing tradition. And it enhances the long, low hot rod theme provided by the 49mm, 38° raked fork, 180mm rear tire, solid disc wheels and sweeping exhaust. The strapping, 60° V-Twin Revolution power plant sends it all blistering into motion. Liquid-cooled and fuel-injected, it displaces 1130cc and pumps out 115 horsepower. 2015 Harley-Davidson Freewheeler Revealed
Tue, 26 Aug 2014It’s no surprise, as we’ve already seen the spy photos and California Air Resources Board documents, but Harley-Davidson has officially introduced its new Freewheeler trike, adding a second three-wheeled model to go with the Tri Glide Ultra Classic. Whereas the Tri Glide is designed for touring needs, the Freewheeler is more of a cruiser with 12-inch mini-ape-hanger handlebars and bobtail fenders. Up front is a seven-piece nacelle with a dual halogen lamp mounted tight to the 49mm telescopic fork and frame.
Afghan Heroes tribute Harley MT350
Tue, 29 Nov 2011The above Harley-Davidson MT350 has been created in honor of the UK soldiers killed over the last ten years in the Afghanistan conflict. This particular MT350 was previously used by British forces in Afghanistan and will now act as a memorial for the charity Afghan Heroes. The tribute was created by Paul Ferguson and Martin Turner, and now features the name of each fallen serviceman or woman, accompanied by their age and the date they were killed in action.
When in Rome for Harley’s 110th
Mon, 03 Jun 2013In addition to all the other goings-on scheduled for Harley-Davidson’s 110th celebration in Rome, Italy, Pirelli and LowRide magazine are teaming up to bring Italian Motor Company enthusiasts even more. During the June 13-16 celebration Pirelli is setting up shop at Lido di Ostia, transforming the Rome Nautical Club in to the Pirelli Clubhouse for this occasion. Guests at the Pirelli Clubhouse can attend tattooing sessions, where images created by Fashion Tattoo Studio will be imprinted on a range of tires. For those who want to try the thrills of driving a racing car through iconic racetracks around the world, the Formula 1 simulator will be available throughout the four-day celebration. Also on show is the new summer collection of Pzero clothing. Pirelli technicians will hold product workshops illustrating the importance of tires on custom motorcycles.
