Harley-Davidson Touring description

MAKE OFFER!!! ALL WILL BE CONSIDERED!!

Up for sale is a 2006 Harley Davidson FLTRI Road Glide. This bike is in "like new" shape. The mileage is 39,200 and still has tons of life left. Runs and rides strong.

My name is Kamran and I am the owner of Vicious Cycles Motorcycle Co. and we specialize in custom Harley Davidson Motorcycles, Choppers, and Bobbers. We received this motorcycle from an auction in Nevada, with some body work that needed to be done. The frame, engine, transmission has been checked and are in excellent shape. Videos and additional photos, including photos of how it looked when we received it, can be found at the website listed above. Here is a list of all the work that was completed by our shop:

Brand new OEM inner and outer fairings (Street Glide)
Brand new OEM replacement speakers
The front fender had a dent in it that we repaired
Replaced left and right saddlebags - OEM
A dent in the gas tank was repaired
Brand new OEM battery purchased at Deans Harley Davidson (1 week old)
All paint work was completed by Fred Beans Collision in Doylestown PA

Additional features:

Vance and Hines 2 into 1 Competition Series black exhaust that sounds awesome
16" Black apes (Burly brand gorilla apes)
Air ride suspension
Custom wheels
Stretched tank
Pre-wired for ipod or iphone
Pre-wired for additional saddlebag speakers. (All you'll need is a set of saddlebag lids that accept speakers). Just plug them in and you are done.

Seat is OEM and has two small tears. There are some very minor scratches on the rear fender area in between the bags and rear fender.  The radio is also missing the volume knob.

Now for the title stuff.. When we received this bike, it did have a salvage title from the state of Nevada. After we re-built it, we had a Pennsylvania enhanced safety inspection done by a penn-dot approved shop to deem it road worthy, safe, and we also acquired the certificate that allows the bike to be titled as a re constructed vehicle. This means, when I transfer the title into your name, you will be receiving a Re-built title and NOT a salvage.

The bike was listed by American Family Insurance -- Las Vegas for auction with Actual Cash Value of $29,550. It came with a Nevada salvage title. We re-built the items listed above and reconditioned other items to factory specifications. There was no damage of any sort to frame, engine and transmission. We had a Pennsylvania enhanced safety inspection done by a penn-dot approved shop to deem it road worthy and safe. We received all the documents and acquired the certificate that allows the bike to be titled as a re-constructed vehicle. This means, we will provide all documents to the buyer who can then take them to a registration place. After registration, a plate will be put on the bike and a new re-built title will be issued. Please note, this will NOT be a salvage title as the bike has fully passed the PA enhanced inspection.

I require a non-refundable deposit via Pay-Pal in the amount of $500 at the immediate end of auction.  I reserve the right to re-list the bike if a deposit is not received.  I require the remainder of the FULL payment within 7 days of the end of the auction.  I will accept certified checks, money orders, cashiers checks, etc via mail.  After money is received and bike is picked up, I will mail all the paper work via first class mail unless the shipping company requires it to ship the bike.

Absolutely no warranty is implied with this motorcycle. It is AS-IS.

Buyer is 100% responsible for shipping, any shipping charges as well as finding a shipping company and making the arrangements for pick up.  I am willing to help in any way I can.  I WILL NOT DEAL OUTSIDE OF EBAY.  Concluding this transaction through Ebay protects both you and me.

Bike is for sale locally as well and I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells locally.

You are getting an amazing motorcycle for a lot less then a dealer would ask and cheaper then any other Road Glide.  Don't let the re-built title frighten you.  This bike has been fully certified by the appropriate state agencies in order to deem it road worthy and safe.  Happy bidding, and feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

Watch As Motorcyclist Gets Chased By Elk – Video

Mon, 14 Oct 2013

Apparently, elks aren’t too keen on motorcyclists, as the video below demonstrates. This couple, aboard what sounds like a Harley-Davidson (that potato-potato exhaust note is unmistakeable), were riding along in Missoula, Montana when this elk decided he wanted to take the road for himself. As traffic slowed and eventually passed, the elk took a growing interest in the couple on the motorcycle, approaching them.

Motorcycle.com Adds a New Editor

Mon, 05 Nov 2012

While some moto publications are cutting back and constricting, Motorcycle.com is proud to announce the addition of a new editor to our masthead. MO readers, meet Jon Langston, our new Associate Editor. I knew Langston was a cool cat when I first met him at the Harley-Davidson Blackline unveiling in January 2011.
