2001 Road King - Very Nice, runs great, fuel injected, custom fuel tank with flush mount fill and led gauge,  lowered,  air ride,  detachable windshield, power commander, forcewinder intake, new tires, new battery, it was an ex-police bike. 25298 mileage. Shifts fine, brakes are good. Everything works as it should, all synthetic oils, normal wear for 2001, minor scratches.  No reserve.  Garage kept.

Shelved Harley-Davidson Penster Tilting Trike Prototypes Revealed

The Harley-Davidson Museum has pulled the covers off discarded prototypes of a leaning three-wheeled motorcycle developed by The Motor Company. Harley-Davidson commissioned automobile hot rodding legend John Buttera to build the original prototype (pictured above) in 1998. Codenamed the “Penster”, the Trike looks like it could have been an earlier version of the Can-Am Spyder, but it had a tilting front end similar to the Piaggio MP3.

Harley-Davidson reported a 15.5% increase in motorcycle sales for the third quarter ended Sept. 30, 2013 compared to the same quarter last year. The news caps off an important quarter for Harley-Davidson that included the company’s 110th anniversary celebrations and the launch of its 2014 lineup including the new Twin-Cooled engines and Project Rushmore enhancements.
