You will be bidding on my Harley-Davidson 2009 Road King Classic FLHRC. I bought it in late 2010 from Harley-Davidson of Long Branch, N.J. as a left over. As the dealer tells the story it was one of the bikes that HD had given to Bruce and the E Street Band. Each member got a bike and they were either delivered or picked up. Max Weinberg was the only one who didn't arrange to get his, he was apparently in the process of moving to the West coast with the Conan O'Brien Show. He finally contacted them and told them he didn't want the bike and it was okay sell. Well this is that bike.
The bike is in excellent condition and is garage kept. It's stock except for the addition of the padded passenger back rest. Has roughly 2600 miles, I ride to work in season and ride short trips on the weekend. I no longer do long overnight trips, so it's to much bike for the type of riding I do now. It's super clean, leather, chrome, and spoke rims still like new, its been pampered. It's a 6 speed, with the motion detection alarm system with key fobs for key less start. My goal is to buy a Triumph Thruxton after the sale of this bike, so if you have a Thruxton to sell and your interested in this bike contact me I'd like to talk.

Tue, 31 Dec 2013In a misallocation of funds Harley-Davidson recently spent an untold buttload of money proving something men have known for years: That women who ride motorcycles are sexier and better between the sheets than women who don’t ride. Common responses from male motorcyclists to the press release were: Duh; Tell me something I didn’t already know; Can I be a recruiter? Meant to entice non-riding females into the Harley-Davidson army by pimping the Bar & Shield’s website, www.h-d.com/women, the press release was peppered with effeminate catchphrases such as “physical intimacy, “communication,” and “improves relationships” but the basal message is one of female motorcyclists being sexier, happier and more confident than their non-riding counterparts.
