Up for auction is a 2005 Harley Davidson Electra Glide (STREET GLIDE).  Bike has 40,000 miles on it & was well taken care of.  Runs great!  Just finished this custom build & paint is FRESH!  Bike has alot of custom parts.  Camtech Customs 6" Saddlebags & 6" Rear Fender.  Camtech tank & dash kit molded as one piece.  Camtech flared side covers.  Camtech raked outer fairing.  Camtech big mouth chin spoiler.  Chrome Gas Cap.  Chrome license plate frame.  30" front fender with chrome mounting blocks.  Chrome forks & fork cans.  HHI neck & triple tree kit.  Camtech bag lids with 6.5" alpine speakers & tweeters installed.  New 5.25" alpine speakers in the inner fairing to match the speakers in the bag lids.  Alpine head unit with I-pod hookup.  Alpine 4-channel amp.  Chrome 30" Front wheel from Metalsport w/13" chrome matching rotor.  Chrome Single 6-piston brake caliper on the front wheel.  Chrome Paul Yaffe Dagger Taillights.  New battery.  Red Dakota Digital Gauges.  Chrome inspection, derby, & timer covers.  Chrome Camtech 1.5" Handlebars w/chrome controls/housings/buttons/levers.  Upgraded all cables.  Back Yard Baggers Front & Rear "Fast Air" air ride---yes it is serious!  Custom horn cover--painted to match bike, all-in-one headlight, tinted windscreen, Chrome big air cleaner, chrome Vance & Hines exhaust, Custom Seat by High Rollers Seats, chrome floorboards, chrome grips, chrome toe/heel pegs, chrome brake pedal, chrome bag latches, chrome turn-signal eliminators, and chrome rear passenger pegs & mounts.  Bike was custom painted with Harley colors to appeal to the mass.  A head turner!  I know I am missing some stuff but honestly, this bike has everything!  Bike has recently been shot for a bagger magazine to come out in the coming months.  Bike is currently in Daytona Beach, FL for Biketoberfest and will be there through 10/20/13 if any Florida residents are interested for easy pickup.

2015 Harley-Davidson Freewheeler Revealed

It’s no surprise, as we’ve already seen the spy photos and California Air Resources Board documents, but Harley-Davidson has officially introduced its new Freewheeler trike, adding a second three-wheeled model to go with the Tri Glide Ultra Classic. Whereas the Tri Glide is designed for touring needs, the Freewheeler is more of a cruiser with 12-inch mini-ape-hanger handlebars and bobtail fenders. Up front is a seven-piece nacelle with a dual halogen lamp mounted tight to the 49mm telescopic fork and frame.

Motorcycle Thefts Down 11.2% in 2010

Motorcycle thefts in the U.S. are down for the fourth consecutive year in 2010,  according to a report from the National Insurance Crime Bureau. There were 49,791 reported motorcycle thefts in 2010, an 11.2% drop from the 56,093 thefts reported in 2009.

Harley-Davidson Hires ex-GM Engineer Federico

Harley-Davidson has hired a former General Motors engineer and executive, most recently recognized for leading the automaker’s internal investigation of its ignition switch fiasco that resulted in a recall of 2.6 million vehicles. Jim Federico retired from GM on May 5 after working in various roles with the company over nearly four decades, most recently as executive director of global vehicle integration. Federico will join Harley-Davidson on June 2 as vice president of engineering.
