Harley-Davidson Touring tech info
Harley-Davidson Touring description
For sale is a 2010 Harley Streetglide FLHX. It currently has only 9200 miles on it (might go
up, as it is still being ridden) and has been meticulously maintained. As you can see from the pictures, it is quite
a head turner! Every inch of this bike
has been customized with some of the best parts on the market. The custom paint was done by Ernie Ball in
Springfield, IL in 2013. If you aren’t
familiar with him, Ernie has seen over 100 magazines showcase his work over the
years! The paint is a multi-purple &
black with shading/shadows, etc. Ghost
flames are also in the pinstripe for a subtle but ultra-custom touch. Even the gauges are tinted to match the color
of the bike! This thing almost glows in
the dark and has so many layers of color in the sun.
Here is a list of what has been done to the bike (I’m sure I
will miss something, but you get the idea).

Louisiana Bill Updates Maximum Handlebar Height Legislation
Thu, 17 May 2012Louisiana state lawmakers have approved a bill that would change the maximum height of motorcycle handlebars. Current state law restricts handlebar height to no more than 15 inches above the seat, a somewhat arbitrary level, but a common choice with 17 other states. The House has voted 87-0 in favor of Senate Bill 582 to change the maximum height to the rider’s shoulder level, as measured while sitting on the seat.
