Up for sale 2015 Harley Davidson Road Glide Touring FLTRXS Special model comes with 1.7L V-Twin high output engine and 6 speed manual transmission. This bike comes with 6.5inch touch screen info-center Navigation unit, cruise control, Radio and iPod hook up, Rinehart dual 4.5 inch exhaust pipes with Vance and Hines mid pipes, Screamin Eagle Air intake. Original MSRP was $12,400 plus extras.
This bike was purchased from an insurance company therefore carries salvage title. Bike has following damages but not limited to: misc. dents and scratches,front rim edge ding, front fender scratches,dents, upper fairing a few imperfections, oil cooler cover, gas tank misc. dents and scratches(see pics) upper fairing stay bracket bent,inner faring has scratched and split area on right side(See pics)right side speaker enclosure,headlight bottom bracket mounting point broke off but headlight still functions fine(can be epoxy fixed) right saddle bag guard and saddle bag scratched(See pics). Bike is confirmed to start and engine runs. When bike was purchased it had tweaked front forks, we have replaced those with brand new HD oem forks .Both front turn signals are not pictured but will be included with the sale of this motorcycle.
This will be a great summer time project for someone who knows how to work on bikes, and with some parts to replace, body or and paint this bike will be back on the road for many miles to come. There is alot of used or aftermarket parts on Ebay to fix this bike back to its original shape or to make a custom bagger out of it.

In 1914 the city of Dodge City, Kansas held a motorcycle race, the Dodge City 300, attracting over 17,000 spectators. By 1921 there were more than 20,000. The race was held on a two-mile dirt oval and was sanctioned by the FAM (Federation of American Motorcyclists).

US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011

Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
