European-Spec 2014 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic Getting Twin-Cooled Engine

Earlier this week, Harley-Davidson revealed its 2014 lineup including the introduction of new precision cooling Twin-Cooled engines with both liquid- and air-cooling. For the U.S., customers can find the new Twin-Cooled engine technology on the Electra Glide Ultra Limited, CVO Limited and the Tri-Glide, but customers in Europe will also find a Twin-Cooled engine mounted on the Electra Glide Ultra Classic. Harley-Davidson Consolidates Businesses in Spain, Portugal and Italy

In response to the continuing economic struggles in southern Europe, Harley-Davidson announced it will combine its operations in Spain, Portugal and Italy into a single business unit to be called SPI Motor Company. Harley-Davidson says the new company, which officially begins operating immediately, will be better positioned to respond to the challenges of the market. The new company will be led by Regional Managing Director of Operations Yves-Olivier Allamagny, formerly the director of Harley-Davidson Italy.

H-D 110th Concert Tickets on Sale Today

Tickets for headlining performances during Harley-Davidson’s 110th Anniversary in Milwaukee, including music superstars Toby Keith, Aerosmith and Kid Rock, go on sale today. Headlining performances will be hosted at Marcus Amphitheater, located on the south end of Milwaukee’s Henry Maier Festival Park (Summerfest Grounds). Keith performs Thursday, Aug. 29; Aerosmith takes the stage Friday, Aug.
