Harley-Davidson Touring description

2012 Harley Davidson CVO Screamin Eagle Street Glide

Excellent/new Condition with very low miles. I am an absolute fanatic about taking care of and cleaning my vehicles and this bike is truly in awesome condition.  It gets put on my bike lift after every ride and gets completely detailed back to spotless condition.  Bike has always been stored in my heated and cooled garage.  I bought the bikes from the original owner, with only 1,050 miles on it.  It currently only has 10,600 miles on it.

If you are looking at this bike you most likely know it comes from the factory loaded up with lots of chrome, beautiful factory custom paint, 8 speaker stereo/CD stereo with a factory iPod docking system, factory matching CVO (only) version of passenger backrest and 2-piece seating. It includes factory Cruise Control, Automatic Security System, and ABS.  All Hand Grips, Floorboards and Highway Pegs are custom matched on the CVO model.  Factory CVO Agitator custom wheels.  CVO model includes Harley’s best engine, the 110.  Once you ride with this engine you can’t settle for anything else.  I also have the factory CVO bike cover and Gold Key, Owner’s manual and factory Tool Kit that came with the bike.  Includes.

I have added a Klockwerks windshield (original will be provided with sale), adjustable fairing wings (can easily be removed if you don’t want them), factory billet fairing lights (a must have, but could be removed), chrome bolt caps on nearly every bolt head (really makes bike look clean) and H.D. 4 point docking kit.  Tires are still in great shape.  Battery was replaced less than a year ago and I have added a battery tender connection to the battery.

I really don’t think you could find a nicer bike than this one, unless you buy a new one.  Please feel free to call with questions (423-314-3410) or come see for yourself (I’m in Chattanooga, TN).  I feel sure if you see it, you will take it home with you.

I am selling due to pending hip surgery and not sure when I will be riding again.

On Aug-13-16 at 03:46:43 PDT, seller added the following information:

Forgot to mention: I have the factory passenger foot pegs.  The previous owner took them off since he rode solo all the time.  Since my wife does not ride I left the passenger foot pegs off.  They will be sold with the bike.

I have had some people ask about the 69' RS/SS Camaro in the background of one of the photos.  Yes it is fully, ground up restored into show condition and is for sale.  Please call if you would like more information on it.

Happy Birthday Elvis!

Fri, 08 Jan 2010

Born on January 8th, 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi, Elvis Aaron Presley would have been 75 years ago today if he was still alive today.  As a tribute to “The King” of Rock and Roll, the Harley-Davidson Museum has created a special exhibit, expanding on the semi-permanent collection from Elvis that has been on display since the museum was opened in 2008. The bill of sale, insurance, and registration papers for the 1956 Harley-Davidson KH pictured above will be on display along with the motorcycle that was owned by Elvis and the Graceland Museum has loaned some rare photos for the occasion. Along with Cadillac’s, Elvis had a passion for motorcycles but especially loved his Hogs and rode Harley’s in many of his films, including Roustabout (1964), Viva Las Vegas (1964), Clambake (1967) and Stay Away Joe (1968).

Harley Declares Women Riders Month

Tue, 10 Feb 2009

Back in July of ’08 Motorcycle.com announced that The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum and Nationwide Insurance were working together to mark July as Women’s Motorcycle Month in order to honor the contribution made to history by female riders. This May, Harley-Davidson is staging a series of events in order to celebrate women on two wheels by declaring May, “Women Riders Month.” Some of the Harley-Davidson Women Riders Month initiatives will include special rides in New York City and Milwaukee as well as an attempt to grace the pages of the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of women motorcycle riders trained in one weekend. Harley-Davidson dealerships will also be hosting women-only Garage Parties, which consist of informal meetings in an unintimidating environment where women can learn about motorcycling.

Harley-Davidson’s Vanity Fair Photo Shoot

Tue, 12 May 2009

Harley-Davidson has JUST uploaded a new video to YouTube (seriously! It was at 0 views when I got there!).  The video is a behind the scenes look at Harley-Davidson’s photo shoot for an upcoming issue of Vanity Fair. Watch the behind the scenes footage from Harley-Davidson’s new print campaign in the June Issue of Vanity Fair that salutes women riders and encourages females who have not yet hit the road on two wheels to “experience life with no regrets.” The women featured are health and wellness expert and NBCs The Biggest Loser trainer Jillian Michaels; Grammy®-winning singer-songwriter Jewel; television and film actor Tricia Helfer; and Los Angeles rider/entrepreneur Deborah DiMiceli.
