Harley-Davidson Touring description

Bike is used. Never been dropped, drag raced, or rode hard. Aftermarket accessories includes HogTunes amp and fairing speakers, Harley-Davidson MoCo highway pegs, 4-point detach mount, sissy bar with backrest pad (matches Street Glide seat stitching, and detach luggage rack. 12v HD plug located in fairing (in addition to stock socket) and another marine 12v outlet in L-side bag (with weatherproof trailer connector for easy removal when not in use), and RAM mount for GPS or phone (includes clutch mount and handlebar mount). Recently installed red L.E.D. accent lighting. It can be removed prior to sale, if requested, with no damage. Also has Cobra slip on exhaust. Can include stock if requested. It is a daily driver so mileage may change slightly from above. Currently finanaced, will receive title from lienholder ASAP.

Harley-Davidson will introduce a new 1200cc Sportster model  released by the California Air Resources Board. The new 2012 Harley-Davidson Seventy-Two is expected to be announced at the company’s winter dealer meeting next month, and it may not be alone. Newly released documents from the CARB reveal the Harley-Davidson Seventy-Two among the company’s 1200cc Sportster offerings alongside the Forty-Eight, 1200 Custom and Nightster.

Canadian publication Cycle Canada had some fun on a photoshoot for its review of the Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight for the July issue. As Pete wrote in our own review, the Harley-Davidson Sportster Forty-Eight has a rugged, bobber-inspired look with its chopped fender, chubby front tire and underslung mirrors. For the guys over at Cycle Canada, the Forty-Eight conjured up a rather odd image: roller derby.

The Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines racing team unveiled its restyled V-Rod drag motorcycles ahead of the first Pro Stock Motorcycle round of the 2012 NHRA Full Drag Racing series. Reigning champion Ed Krawiec and Andrew Hines will compete for the Harley-Davidson team on new V-Rod drag bikes, restyled to more closely resembled the Night Rod Special production model. This marks the first restyling of Harley-Davidson’s NHRA competition bikes since the V-Rod entered the competition in 2002, and comes as The Motor Company celebrates the V-Rod’s 10th anniversary.“The goal was to make the drag racing motorcycles look more like the current production Night Rod Special motorcycle,” says Kris Schoonover, Harley-Davidson racing manager.
