2011 Harley Davidson FLHX Street Glide in Black Denim that is ready to see the country, with you in the driver's seat. This Street Glide comes with the Harley Davidson Power Pak factory option that includes the Twin Cam 103 engine, security, and ABS, giving you the amenities of an enhanced motorcycle touring bike. Only has 4,343 miles on it! The black denim paint looks great all around, and the tires all have thousands of miles of tread left. Extremely comfortable touring seats made for the long haul. Never down or in any accidents. Primary and air cover are powder coated, and they really look cool on this bike. Has beautiful LED's along the chassis. Cool looking Etched windshield with flames & Air Force wings, and it lights up also (with hidden lights from the bottom). Really neat feature. Passed our 34 point checklist with flying colors. The only real flaws we could find were a scratch on the lower right saddlebag, a scratch on top of the rear fender where a sissy bar would have been, and a few very, very small rock chips on the front fender. Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle Vance & Hines Team Unveils Restyled V-Rod Drag Bikes
Fri, 09 Mar 2012The Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines racing team unveiled its restyled V-Rod drag motorcycles ahead of the first Pro Stock Motorcycle round of the 2012 NHRA Full Drag Racing series. Reigning champion Ed Krawiec and Andrew Hines will compete for the Harley-Davidson team on new V-Rod drag bikes, restyled to more closely resembled the Night Rod Special production model. This marks the first restyling of Harley-Davidson’s NHRA competition bikes since the V-Rod entered the competition in 2002, and comes as The Motor Company celebrates the V-Rod’s 10th anniversary.“The goal was to make the drag racing motorcycles look more like the current production Night Rod Special motorcycle,” says Kris Schoonover, Harley-Davidson racing manager.
Pope Francis To Auction Harley-Davidson For Charity
Mon, 21 Oct 2013During Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebrations earlier this year, Pope Francis was given not one, but two Harley-Davidsons, a 2013 Heritage Softail Classic and Dyna Super Glide Custom. Not one for gaudy excess (or a motorcycle ride for that matter), Pope Francis has decided to put both up for auction. Specifically, the Pope has donated the bikes to the Caritas charity near Rome.
Mustang Announces Metal Flake Seat Colors and Display for Sturgis
Wed, 16 Jul 2014Just in time for Sturgis, Mustang Seats has release new color options for its custom seats. Designed to match the retro colors on Harley-Davidson’s Hard Candy Custom collection, the vinyl seats have metal flake in six available colors available on Mustang’s Tripper Solo, Tripper Fastback and DayTripper seats. According to Mustang, after the starting its custom seat program last fall, so many customers requested a metal flake option that they had to provide it.
