Stephen King to Guest Star on ‘Sons of Anarchy’

Tue, 21 Sep 2010

Stephen King will be making a guest appearance on the hit TV show, Sons of Anarchy, later tonight.  King will play a character named “Bachman”, which I’m sure was no coincidence since he had published under the pen name “Richard Bachman” for several years. Stephen King is a motorcycle enthusiast and was excited to get a tricked-out, bright red Harley-Davidson Road-Glide to ride for the filming of the episode.  See his comments about the production here. A custom Nevada Sesquicentennial-themed motorcycle celebrating the state’s 150th anniversary was revealed as part of the event, along with details on how one lucky rider will win it at the store’s grand opening. Harley-Davidson owners from around the city flocked to the site as Las Vegas Harley-Davidson President Don Andress and Vice President Timothy Cashman discussed the new location and, along with Governor of Nevada Brian Sandoval, unveiled a custom Nevada Sesquicentennial-themed motorcycle.
