Harley-Davidson Touring description

Beautiful, super clean 2010 Harley Ultra Classic. Built 103, Dan Dorfman heads with compression release valves, assembled by Jason of C&S with Woods Brother's cam -- dynoed at over 100 HP / tons of torque!

To put this into perspective, when my 96 cu. in. '09 Ultra had the 103 big bore kit installed, it took the HP from 64 to 80 and the torque from 76 ft. lbs. to 95 ft. lbs.

This engine build produces 104 HP and over 114 ft. lbs. of torque! That increased power makes this bike so much easier to ride and reduces the amount of down shifts usually required when riding two up on hills.

Red Hot Sunglow -- Painted inner fairing, Harley oil cooler with oil temperature gauge, chrome/air lowering shocks (one and a half inch lower than stock, but have the stock air shocks if you want them), chrome front forks, ABS -- front and back NEW tires and NEW wheels, upgraded speakers.
Harley chrome handlebar controls and levers. 46,XXX easy, careful road miles.
MasterTune II software installed and goes with the bike.
Harley Davidson financing is available as is an extended service plan -- asking $14,550 -- This bike is just about spotless! John (Belleville, Illinois)

Not too sure how to handle shipping, but will work with buyer to make it as painless as possible - and could deliver the bike free if location is within 100 miles - otherwise we will just figure out something that will work.

Additionally, to buy the bike - please advance $500 immediately via PayPal and be prepared to pay the balance via certifed funds within 7 days - delivery and/or possession will immediately follow full payment...

Finally, the bike is actively for sale on other sites, so this listing could be ended without notice.

This behemoth, which looks like a work of modern technoart, is called the Screamin' Eagle Milwaukee-Eight 131.

Tue, 26 Mar 2013

A new survey conducted by the Consumer Reports National Research Center finds BMW and Harley-Davidson  owners are much more likely to report major problems with their motorcycles than owners of Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha motorcycles. The survey, which will appear on the April 2013 issue of Consumer Reports, says one in three BMW owners reported experiencing a major problem with their bikes in the last four years. Harley-Davidson owners were slightly better, with one in four reporting serious issues.
