Harley-Davidson Touring description
The CVO
Street Glide is a limited production hot rod bagger powered by a Screamin’
Eagle 110 inc engine which offers the largest displacement offered by
Harley-Davidson. This potent touring bike is loaded with sparkling chrome,
electrifying paint and fresh custom-styling ideas. The FLHXSE was built on the
Touring chassis introduced by Harley in 2009 which was designed to withstand
the demands of long haul touring riders and today's more powerful engines. A
few of the features include the one piece extended saddlebags, contrast cut 18
inch front and rear Agitator wheels with matching floating rotors, hydraulic
rear shocks, a low profile seat with matching passenger back rest, an exclusive
paint scheme with a color matched front fairing skirt, upper fork slider
covers, saddle bag latches and license plate cover in addition to CVO badges
for the air cleaner, console insert, derby cover, timer cover and the custom
oil cooler. Other items worth noting are the smoked low-profile wind deflector,
40-watt Harman Kardon Advanced Audio System, ABS, electronic cruise control,
smoked turn signal lenses with amber bulbs, a voltage regulator, a push button
fuel door, front axle covers, rider footboard supports, adjustable passenger
footboard supports, a high-torque 1.4kW starter, a high performance clutch with
hydraulic actuation and a Smart Security System with siren. This particular
example was optioned in Candy Concord with pale gold leaf graphics, is a 1
owner bike and currently has 27,265 miles. It has been nicely optioned with
engine guards that have integrated highway pegs, an extra set of highway pegs
and it sounds just plain nasty ripping through its Rush performance exhaust
system. It is a one owner bike that has been pampered since day one. It was
last serviced at 26,036 miles and received a new rear tire at 26,335 miles.

Easy Rider 40th Anniversary
Tue, 27 Oct 2009Peter Fonda, who played Wyatt in the 1969 cult classic, Easy Rider, was in Glendale, CA on Friday to help promote the Blu-Ray release of the film which marks the 40th anniversary. The movie was scheduled to be shown at the Love Ride event that was canceled this year, instead the film screened at a local Harley-Davidson dealer. One of the film’s main objective was to expose violence and racism in the U.S. in a negative light but instead it seems that it was taken the wrong way with most, glorifying the lifestyle that was portrayed in the film.
