Harley-Davidson Touring description

Custom 2010 Harley Davidson Road King

This bike started life as a 2010 Police bike and that is why it has the stock 103 from the factory.  She has just been customized in the spring of 2013, but she is no trailer queen.  This is my daily rider and only has 12,000 total miles.

This bike has a comfortable seat, great suspension, superb handling, and incredible looks!  You will not find a better looking and riding Road King on Ebay at this price!!  All work on this bike was performed at my local Harley Dealership.

  • Sweet Matte Black paint job with gloss black HD "1" logo
  • 103" HD motor with Screamin Eagle Pro Stage II Kit
  • Rockers, Pushrods, Timing Cover, Trans covers, & Primary cover have all been powder coated gloss black
  • 19” Front & 18" Rear Black/Chrome Harley Agitator Wheels
  • Matching Agitator Air Cleaner
  • Gloss Black Harley front end kit
  • Custom HD Sidekick Seat
  • Custom front signals
  • Wrap style front fender
  • Harley Davidson Stretched Bags
  • Harley CVO Rear end kit
  • 11" Fred Kodlin Black Bonanza Bars from Santee
  • The bars are wired internally and cruise control has been added
  • 14" Dark Smoke Detachable Windshield
  • I had all of the windshield supports powder coated black
  • Vance & Hines Dual Headers with Blackout Rounds Slip Ons
  • Harley Davidson Premium Ride Hand adjustable touring shocks
  • PM Contour Rider & Passenger floorboards
  • Detachable passenger backrest
I think I have mentioned everything here, but if you have any questions please contact me.

I have taken great care of this bike.  Always garage kept and on a battery tender when not riding.  Like I mentioned above, this is a daily rider (well as much as you can in Michigan) so there are a few "beauty marks" from the road, but nothing you wouldn't see on any other bike that is ridden on a regular basis.  A few things to point out:  There is a small chip in the chrome on the front wheel, which is shown in one of the pictures above; also the under side of the exhaust on the right side as well as the rider floorboard mount have been scraped on the ground (you can also see this in one of the pictures).

Church of MO: 1997 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic

Sun, 17 Apr 2022

How many 25-year old motorcycles are still being sold anyway? The Honda XR650L springs to mind, but other than it, its too early on Easter Sunday to investigate further. Granted, the Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic has undergone enough changes as to really not be the same machine anymore, yet that indelible American profile, architecture, and riding experience remain the same.

Harley-Davidson Denies Plans for Small-Displacement Model for India

Fri, 18 May 2012

India’s 13-million-unit-per-year motorcycle market is comprised of mostly small-displacement models, so it sounds odd at first when manufacturers such as Harley-Davidson and Triumph enter the market with their larger-displacment models. The question quickly arises as to whether they will stick with their existing big-bore models or introduce an all-new, small-capacity model for the Indian market. Manufacturers like the Big Four from Japan already produce smaller models for other markets so it’s a relatively easy task for them to introduce new models such as Honda‘s recently launched 109cc Dream Yuga.

Louisiana Bill Updates Maximum Handlebar Height Legislation

Thu, 17 May 2012

Louisiana state lawmakers have approved a bill that would change the maximum height of motorcycle handlebars. Current state law restricts handlebar height to no more than 15 inches above the seat, a somewhat arbitrary level, but a common choice with 17 other states. The House has voted 87-0 in favor of Senate Bill 582 to change the maximum height to the rider’s shoulder level, as measured while sitting on the seat.
