Harley-Davidson Touring description

2009 Road Glide, Custom Bagger

Up for sale is my personal bike.  The bike started as a Road Glide from the factory and I bought it new from the Dealer with 6 miles on it.  Currently the bike has only 6,828 original miles.  Two years ago I decided to convert it to a Road King, but not just any Road King...I wanted to retain ALL hand radio controls for the stereo.  So I went to work and modified the inner connect harness to allow me to do just that.

(The bike can be turned back into a Road Glide at any time with the addition of just a few parts...new inner connect harness, inner, outer, gages and headlight. that’s it!)

The bike’s frame was raked to accommodate the 30” wheel via neck and trees.  The bike also has full air ride suspension (front and rear) and rides straight and smooth.

Bike is a show winner and has won several awards with the most recent one at the 2016 Hollister Independence Rally.  Taking 1st Place in the Radical Bagger Class (sanctioned and judged by IMBBA Judges) as a buyer please pay attention to what you are actually paying for, ie. Does the bike have black bars in order to re-use the ugly stock black switch housings, stock black switches? "Custom" bike but still has the ugly stock horn? matching chrome rear wheel? Matching chrome pulley? Matching rear brake rotor? look at the small details... gaps, how they run the brakes lines etc

The bike is located in Northern California, 100% insured, registered and ready to go, and can be shipped anywhere in the US or around the world (buyer is responsible for shipping).

ACCEL Stealth Supercoils Now Available For Harley-Davidson Sportsters

Fri, 08 Aug 2014

ACCEL today announced the company’s popular motorcycle Stealth SuperCoils will now be available to owners of 2007-2014 Harley-Davidson Sportsters.  First introduced in late-2013 for Harley-Davidson Twin-Cam engines, ACCEL’s Stealth SuperCoils provide quicker engine starting and improved throttle response, while hiding all ignition wiring in the head of the self-contained coil pack; eliminating the need for spark plug wires and creating a clean, custom look. In addition to the flat black and natural aluminum finishes, the Sportster Stealth SuperCoils are offered in flat black with polished aluminum edges. Each SuperCoil mounts directly to the spark plug and features a cross-functional cast aluminum cover that also acts as a heat sink, pulling heat away from the cylinder heads.

The Hydra-Glide name celebrates its 75th anniversary, dating back to the first hydraulic fork that was equipped to a Harley-Davidson, replacing the springer front end in 1949, while the “slash” fuel tank design, emblem, classic round air filter cover, two-toned windshield, seat, and cases, are all nods to the 1956 FLH.
