Harley-Davidson Touring description

I hate to let this go. Must sell. Buying a house....

I am selling my Street Glide with lots of upgrades on the bike. It has a safety rapid blinking brake light, passenger foot panels, very nice stereo addition, upgraded pipes, custom seat, brand new paint job that cost $3,900. Plus, it has nearly $4,000 in upgrades after the original purchase. This bike has never been laid down. It's in mint condition.

Also, this 1584cc 96 cubic inches bike has ABS brakes.

The bike has a new paint job because I used bungee cords to tie down a tarp while trailering the bike to Arizona this past spring. The paint was damaged by the vibration of the cords and tarp. Biker error... The new paint job makes the bike look brand new. It runs as if it is brand new as well. Hate to sell it!!!

I have enjoyed riding this bike in Arizona, Colorado, Mexico, Michigan, Florida and Utah. It has 28,600 miles.

Asking $16,500. Similar bikes on eBay and HD used bikes are selling between $17,500 and $21,000.

AMA Honors Zero and Scot Harden with Bessie Stringfield Award

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.

2015 Harley-Davidson CVO and Twin-Cooled Models Certified by CARB

Tue, 19 Aug 2014

The California Air Resource Board has released new certification documents revealing most of Harley-Davidson‘s 2015 line-up. The CARB executive orders, required before a motorcycle is allowed to be sold in California, reveal new CVO versions of the Road Glide Ultra and Street Glide, two low versions of the Electra Glide and more models receiving Harley-Davidson’s Twin-Cooled engine. Introduced last year on the Ultra Limited, CVO Limited and Tri-Glide Ultra trike, the Twin-Cooled engine uses liquid-cooling for the cylinder heads, reducing emissions.
