Harley-Davidson Touring description

For sale is a 2009 Road King FLHR.  Black with strong 96ci motor.  I am 2nd owner.  I purchased it from original owner in 2011 with only 750 miles on it.  the original owner had the dealership install the following when bought new. Screaming eagle tuner, V&H monster oval exhaust, 4 post mount for passenger backrest/luggage rack and 16" Wild Ones apes. the only thing I have added is the  turn signal/brake light kit for added safety, chrome passenger floorboard covers, blue LED lights in engine compartment and highway pegs.  Front tire has been replaced.  Rear tire is original with maybe 10% treadwear left.  The bike will be sold with the following extras.  Passenger backrest, luggage rack, factory windshield and the extra OEM handle bars in case you wanted to go back with standard handlebars.

Keeping with this theme, one hardy Canadian rider is braving the Great White North’s frigid winter temperatures by riding his Harley coast to coast to raise awareness for diabetes, a disease that has seen a rapid explosion of new afflictions.

As motorcyclists, we’re drawn to the freedom two wheels represent; just man, machine and the open road. The feeling rings true today as it did 72 years ago, when Wallace Van Sandt, of Birmingham, Alabama, took delivery of his 1941 Harley-Davidson WLD Special Sport Solo, purchased new in 1940 for $365 (roughly $5800 in today’s money) by his father as a high school graduation gift. The WLD Special Sport Solo was a ringer in its day.
