Harley-Davidson Touring description

2009 Street Glide FLHX

This bike is a full out bagger ready for riding! The 21" front wheel rides great, the 4" bags and BadDad fender really drop out the rear end for the sweet bagger look, and the bike is more powerful than stock thanks to the Perfect Storm upgrade. Great throttle response and an outstanding exhaust tone at idle and really nice when you open her up!

Extremely rideable as I have ridden this setup on the Tail of the Dragon in TN, the Snake in TN and NC, and through the hills in Sturgis.

The details:

10k miles (could go up as I am still riding while the ad is up)

Off-Road Motorcycle and Free-Ride Bicycle Compared

Thu, 11 Dec 2008

What if anything do bicycles and motorcycles have in common? Besides the whole two-wheel thing, it isn’t outright apparent that these two “handle-barred beasts” share more than ancient ancestry. Modern Off-road motorcycle and Free-ride bicycle designs side-by-side illustrate how much technology the two have in common.

Harley is giving you a chance to pay your respects and support our military, it doesn’t hurt that they are giving away a Harley-Davidson motorcycle which will be personally delivered by Marisa Miller and a trip to Las Vegas to see UFC 108. Details and a promotional video after the jump. Its as easy as 1, 2, 3.  The first step is pick a postcard on the Harley site, make your statement of thanks and submit for all to see.  There are also some cool retro calendars available featuring Marisa Miller but will only be available to active military and veterans starting November 11th, there are posters and postcards available for everyone starting November 1st.
