Hate to let it go but recent back surgery forces sale. This bike is
beyond beautiful, lots of aftermarket parts. 1612 of 7,000 made in the
Anniversary series. Lots of storage in the saddle bags and trunk, lots
of chrome, highway foot pegs. 2,000+ copper and black paint code for the
anniversary option.
Took out the stock radio but still have it. But in a great Alpine stereo with USB and Bluetooth, it has 4 x Alpine speakers and and 300 amp Rockford Fosgate amp under the hood cowl. Makes great sound. Also set up for driver and passenger intercom system. Side chrome saddle bag and truck options, aftermarket exhaust, great tread on the tires. I just don't have the time or strength to ride it anymore with my back surgery. Shelved Harley-Davidson Penster Tilting Trike Prototypes Revealed
Thu, 04 Aug 2011The Harley-Davidson Museum has pulled the covers off discarded prototypes of a leaning three-wheeled motorcycle developed by The Motor Company. Harley-Davidson commissioned automobile hot rodding legend John Buttera to build the original prototype (pictured above) in 1998. Codenamed the “Penster”, the Trike looks like it could have been an earlier version of the Can-Am Spyder, but it had a tilting front end similar to the Piaggio MP3.

Designed with Dunlop’s MT Multi-Tread technology, with a long-wearing center compound and grippier compounds on each edge, the new American Elite’s should pique the interest of Harley FL owners. The second-gen series of American Elites are also now available with narrow white bar sidewalls and wide white walls along with the original black sidewall, providing FL owners more choices. For riders of Harley-Davidson FL Touring bikes, model year 2009 and later, the new second-generation American Elite tires with Multi-Tread are available in 130/80B17 and 180/65B16 black sidewall, 130/80B17 and 180/65B16 narrow white sidewall, 130/90B16 and 180/65B16 wide white sidewall, with the 130/70B18 front tire available for select CVO bikes. For recent-model Softail owners, including models such as the Fat Boy, the MH90-21, 140/75R17 and 200/50R17 sizes of American Elite are also available.
