Harley-Davidson Touring description

I just bought a 2012 CVO Ultra Classic and the deal with my wife was that I would sell my other bike, so here it is... And yes, it is a Road King, but its a one of a kind Road King....

Limited Edition 36 of 3000 Anniversary Edition Road King, Security System with 2x FOBs, 103ci Big Bore with Performance CAMs and Race Tuner, Vance & Hines True Dual Exhause for that Harley-Davidson rumble. Hard Side and Tour Pak bags with original Anniversery Edition Paint, Lots and Lots of Chrome.  Add-on fairing from Reckless Motorcycles (http://www.recklessmotorcycles.com/roadking.htm) fully painted with Anniversary Edition Colors. Over $35k invested since new.  Great Looking Ride, Awesome Acceleration, Second to None Pipe Rumble.
Never dropped, always garaged, newer battery and tires.  All maintenance and service work performed by H-D dealers. All extra parts come with the bike.  Call or Message for more details.

History:
I bought the bike from an HD dealer in Missouri.  The bike was 6 months old with 1000 miles with one previous owner.  The original owner added the Vance & Hines True Dual Exhaust, and the 12 inch Fat Mini-Ape Handlebars.  This bike was a dream to listen to and ride.  Before I took the bike home I added the Chromed handlebar buttons and controls and upgraded the stock 96ci engine to the SE 103ci with performance cams and Racing Tuner. The bike had the clear detachable fairing with the leather bag you'll see shown in the pictures below. The original saddlebags are the dual tone Anniversary Edition leather bags. The bike also had a detachable passenger backrest with the Anniversary Edition Logo. (I still have these parts and they are included with the bike.)  I have also found and upgraded the original Road King seat to a Anniversary Edition Ultra Classic seat.  I like this one so much better as we can ride for hours non-stop now.  (The original seat will come with the bike, as well.)

This bike makes an awesome roar.  I can alert cars driving around me by rolling on the throttle and they can hear me just fine. The Big Bore 103ci with performance cams can move me down the road with ease.  This kit also provides for the bike to safely rev up to 7000 RPM's (from the standard 5500 RPMs).  Speaking of RPM's you'll notice the upgraded digital speedometer with analog tachometer.  I added this so I could more easily see my speed and my RPM's.  It glows red at night so it won't create too much night time glare.  (The original Speedometer is included, too, of course.)

As you'll notice I added the hard saddlebags and the hard touring pak.  These came from a bike to trike conversion in North Carolina.  You will notice the painted fairings and the lights and all of the chrome.  That's the way they came to me.  All in great condition.  The tour pack was originally mounted as a detachable mount but the weight of the pak and the passenger leaning back on the pak sheered the bolt off on two occasions so I made it a permanent fixture.  The tour pak is set back an additional 2 inches so there is more room for passenger and rider up front..  for the cooler weather and to the bugs pinging me I also found and added the lower fairings.  The bike looked great with the original detachable fairing.  I have pictures of this if interested.  I then added the detachable full fairing with custom paint job to match the bike's anniversary edition colors.  I wired up the sound but found the exhaust system over powered the great sound system, so it is currently disconnected, but all connections and cables will come with the bike so you can do as you please.

As you look close at the side views you'll notice the engine is chromed out, the passenger footboards are chromed out, and the rider's foot pegs and gear shifter and foot brake are all upgraded with chromed out accesories.  I have also added chrome locks on the handlebars so you can hang (and optionally lock) your helmets when you step away.

This bike is a piece of eye candy to behold and a joy to listen to and to ride.

You're welcome to come by and see the bike (located near Lebanon, Tennessee currently), or call for more details. I will pick up if I can, but if not I'll call you right back if you leave a message.

There is no preset reserve amount other than the beginning auction amount.  If you want it right away and don't want to get into a bidding war then use the buy it now option.  There is a lot of bike here and all of the original parts listed above are included.

The bike is for sale locally so I reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time.

The winning bidder will be expected to complete a paypal deposit of $2,000.00 while additional funding and delivery arrangement are made.  If you have any doubts or second thoughts - please don't bid. I have purchased many times on Ebay and every time I won an auction I was ready and able to execute the payment immediately.  I expect the same here, too.  Again, call me or message me if you have any questions or concerns.

Thanks for viewing and good luck bidding.

AMA Pro Racing Announces Basic Twins Flat Track Class for 2014 Season

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

AMA Pro Racing announced a new class for Flat Track racing designed to provide a new stepping stone for up-and-coming Pro-licensed racers, replacing the Pro Singles class in 2014. The new class, to be called Basic Twins, is more or less a revival of the Basic Expert Twins division that ran during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but dropped when the Pro Singles class was introduced for 2009. The new class will give young racers a chance to showcase their skills on Twins, easing their transition to eventually enter the Grand National Expert Twins class.
