CLEAN BIKE NICE UPGRADES READY TO ROCK!!

This is a great buy on a really nice, great running, like new Ultra Classic!!  This puppy really does catch the eye.  The paint is finished in a crisp White Gold that really shimmers in the sun.  It has been meticulously maintained and garage kept.  It has over $5,000.00 in upgrades.  These Upgrades include Vance and Hines True Dual Exhaust, Highflow Intake , Custom Grips, Luggage Rack, Road Zeppelin Touring and Passenger seats, Wide White Wall tires, Hands Free Blue Tooth Module, Advanced Stereo Amplifier XM Radio, and more.  All upgrades were installed by the dealer when I purchased the bike in January of 2007.  All maintenance is up to date with records and receipts available.  It is an absolute dream to drive.

Harley-Davidson Reveals Project Livewire

Thu, 19 Jun 2014

Yesterday we published a scoop on what we believed to be a production electric motorcycle by, of all companies, Harley-Davidson, dubbed “Livewire.” Today, H-D officially announced Project LiveWire as the company’s first electric motorcycle. However, it appears as though our speculation about LiveWire going into production was a bit off base. Instead, The Motor Company is continuing with its customer-led product development approach and letting riders decide whether or not LiveWire sees the light of day. Starting next week select consumers across the country will be able to ride and provide feedback on the bike, helping to shape the future of Harley-Davidson’s first-ever electric motorcycle. While not for sale, Project LiveWire is specifically designed for the purpose of getting insight into rider expectations of an electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Louisiana Bill Updates Maximum Handlebar Height Legislation

Thu, 17 May 2012

Louisiana state lawmakers have approved a bill that would change the maximum height of motorcycle handlebars. Current state law restricts handlebar height to no more than 15 inches above the seat, a somewhat arbitrary level, but a common choice with 17 other states. The House has voted 87-0 in favor of Senate Bill 582 to change the maximum height to the rider’s shoulder level, as measured while sitting on the seat.
