Excellent condition, never wrecked, garage kept, ready to roll, never dogged. Needs absolutely nothing. Only selling because new bike is on the way. I have purchased both the Vehicle History Report from NMVTIS and the VINCheck from NICB and will provide them to the Buyer.  Several thousand in extras, a few are: custom seat from vehicle upholstery shop w/gel instead of cheap foam using original HD leather and frame w/custom rider backrest. Thick passenger seat, and custom fender bib when rear seat is removed. Bright headlight & fog lamps, billet signals, chrome laced wheels, all matching HD "Streamliner" footboards, grips, brake & shifters, LED brake light, 2 billet LED rear running lights, rear fender color matched filler panels, original FLHRS saddlebags in excellent shape w/lid liners for extra storage, Vance & Hines "true dual" pipes & V&H FuelPak, dual trumpet air horns, Screaming Eagle heavy breather air-cleaner w/rain cover, over 100 blue and purple LED's added from front to rear with remote control.  This bike is super chromed out from front to back & top to bottom.  Not into LED's or chrome?  Then you have plenty to sell to make money back.  Upgraded with a HD combo speedo/tach w/over 600 color combinations (currently blue & purple, can be changed)-check HD website for features PN/ 70900171A. *Pic shows old inspection sticker, just inspected in March 2016.  There is a small lien remaining on title so I'll provide a notarized bill of sale written as buyer wishes to protect buyer, and will make arrangements to NDA title at my cost when it arrives to me.  Will not ship motorcycle unless you arrange it.  Pickup preferred, or may negotiate delivery within 100 miles of zip 23836/Chesterfield VA after payment is complete and cleared.

Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley

Thu, 22 Mar 2012

Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images and memorabilia donated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “ two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.

Harley-Davidson Confirms 500cc Model on the Way, Says Electric Harleys Not That Far-Fetched

Mon, 02 Sep 2013

It’s only been a couple of weeks since Harley-Davidson broke new ground by unveiling new “Twin-Cooled” liquid precision-cooling engine technology its new Project Rushmore suite of customer-driven refinements, but the Motor Company appears to have even more ambitious plans in the works. Speaking at Harley-Davidson’s 110th anniversary celebrations, Chief Operating Officer Matthew Levatich confirmed the company is producing a new 500cc model and opened the possibility of an electric Harley-Davidson somewhere down the line. We’ve previously written about Harley-Davidson’s plans to introduce a new 500cc V-Twin model for the Indian market.

What am I gonna do with a gun rack?

Wed, 27 Jul 2011

Living in Shoreditch I come across a unique variety of motorcycles on the road; from XS650s, to classic Lambrettas and one completely brown jelly-mould CBR600. My favourite of the regular bikes I see is this Harley-Davidson badged Armstrong MT500. In my head I like to think that the owner operates as an urban vigilante, realistically whoever rides this ex-Army bike is probably an artist and instead of a weapon in the gun holder it's probably art equipment.
