Harley-Davidson Touring description

2007 Harley Davidson Electra Glide 96" 6 speed with a salvage title. The Bike was hit in the side and as you can see in the pictures the Primary case is damaged and gas tank has some dents. The bike will need a outer fairing, front fender, kick stand, passenger foot board and bag lid has some scuffs on it. It looks like the left side saddlebag quard is bent as well. We did not get the keys for this bike so you will need to get a key and security phob from Harley with the title. I do have the tour pack bottom that will go with the bike that is broke and  top is gone but does have speakers and rest. also I do have the front fender with the light that will go with it but its junk. The bike runs very well and would make a nice bike.

Please look at the pictures good as these are salvage Title bikes. I have had some Negative Feedback after people come here, look and ride the bikes then get them home and didn't see the back peg on it and think its the end of the world. If you have a shipper pick up the bike and the bike just gets thrown around it on them NOT ME... I have had a lot of repeat buyer`s with no complaints so PLEASE LOOK AT PICTURES GOOD..... We provide all necessary paperwork for your trip to the DMV...

Bonhams To Auction Wayne Pierce Family Collection Of Motorcycles Jan. 9, 2014, In Las Vegas

Fri, 04 Oct 2013

On January 9, 2014, during the fourth annual Las Vegas Sale of motorcycles at Bally’s Hotel and Casino, Bonhams, the world’s largest auction house for cars, motorcycles and memorabilia, will be auctioning off over 50 motorcycles from the extensive Wayne Pierce family museum collection, all offered at no reserve. Among the machines is a first-year Harley-Davidson Sportster believed to be the 10th XL883 produced in 1957, a 1933 Harley VLE police bike that saw actual duty on the streets of Chicago before being cast in the 1987 Kevin Costner gangster movie, “The Untouchables,” and an authentic and unrestored 1947 Harley Knucklehead wearing period aftermarket accessories. Wayne “Pappy” Pierce started his Harley-Davidson dealership in 1957, run out of a one-room tin shed in DeKalb, Illinois.

Harley Art

Mon, 16 Jan 2012

A new display in the Harley-Davidson museum in Milwaukee is set to open at the end of this week exhibiting the artwork of the firm's styling chief Willie G Davidson. As well as being the grandson of the original 'Davidson' and in charge of all Harley's styling, it turns out that Willie G is a dab hand with a paintbrush. According to Harley-Davidson, the display will include “idyllic rural landscapes and still life watercolour paintings with strong luminosity and form that hint at time spent in the countryside during 48 years as the pacesetter in motorcycle design.” The firm's museum has also announced other special exhibits planned for later in the year, including “Journey of the Iron Elite: The Evolution of Motorcycle Culture through the Eyes of African-Americans” and “Born to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket” - a 4000-square-foot display dedicated purely to black biker jackets...
