Harley-Davidson Touring description

Up for sale is a very nice 2006 Harley-Davidson Road King Custom with just 16542 original miles.

The Harley comes in a very rare and desirable color combination “Two tone fire red and vivid black”.

The Road King looks great and shows only minimal signs of wear..

All paint is glossy without any dings, dents or heavy scratches.

All chrome looks good without any signs of pitting or peeling.

Please take a look at all the detailed pictures and judge by yourself.

The Road King is equipped with an aftermarket “Rinehart” exhaust system that delivers a great sound.

It also has a windshield, sissy bar and a few extra Harley emblems.

The overall mechanical condition of the bike is flawless.

The motor starts right up, runs strong and pulls the tranny effortless through all its gears.

The front tire has about 70% of its life left and the rear tire is brand new (the picture shows the old tire!).

Don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions you might have at 239-961-2774 (Klaus).

Off-Road Motorcycle and Free-Ride Bicycle Compared

Thu, 11 Dec 2008

What if anything do bicycles and motorcycles have in common? Besides the whole two-wheel thing, it isn’t outright apparent that these two “handle-barred beasts” share more than ancient ancestry. Modern Off-road motorcycle and Free-ride bicycle designs side-by-side illustrate how much technology the two have in common.

Harley-Davidson has revealed a new member to its Dyna family featuring quick change convertibility from touring to cruiser mode. As we expected, the new Harley-Davidson Dyna Switchback features hard saddlebags and fork-mounted windshield that can be removed quickly and without tools, allowing it to change from a touring motorcycle to a cruiser, and back again. The Dyna Switchback uses Harley-Davidson’s Twin Cam 103 engine, 2-into-1 chrome exhaust, and five-spoke cast aluminum wheels with full fenders.
