Harley-Davidson Touring description

Looking for that one custom used Road Glide that has been tastefully modified and babied since day one? Well, this one might be it! You are looking at a 2006 Road Glide with 19,060 miles. Where to start...

Cosmetically: Just look at the pictures... Chrome! You name it, it has it! Custom chrome wheels(front&back), chrome front end, chrome controls, and chrome everywhere else.

Engine/Mechanical: Let's just say that this motor was built with the best parts available by one of the best!! Ever heard of Dave Mackie Engineering? If not, go to davemackie.com/headwork.html  This is where the heads and motor were built. It has the 110 Screamin Eagle heads that were ported and contoured(complete headwork). High performance cam shafts, Bassani single side header and full exaust. This bike sounds amazing and truly unique! With all the performance mods this bike has plenty of power. Actually, it's very fast!!

Condition: This bike was very well maintained. I always changed the oil every 3000 miles with full synthetic oil. I've meticulously taken care of the bike both mechanically and cosmetically. I was assured that this motor was built with a ton of reliability and I have NEVER had ANY issues with it. The only reason for parting with my baby for the last 6 years is that I have a new one on order... Yes, I'm going to miss this one but that's how it always goes. My loss is your gain. I just hope the next lucky owner takes care of her as much as I did...

I will accept cash only. No fake checks and please don't waste my time with low ball offers. If you know anything about these things you know I have a TON of money invested in this machine. Thanks again for looking!

EBR Nation Part 3: Made In America

Wed, 10 Aug 2011

Erik Buell Racing has released the third episode of its series about the new 1190RS sportbike. The latest episode focuses on the company’s “Made in America” philosophy, with its goal of producing a high-performance superbike in the U.S.A. As Erik Buell, racer Geoff May and designer Tony Stefanelli discuss the themes of innovation and freedom, we can’t help but wonder however whether they’re talking about American ideals, or about being out from Harley-Davidson’s umbrella.
