Well maintained 06 Street Glide. By the mileage you can tell it was not ridden much. Mostly on longer trips or highway mileage. I am the original owner and purchased it new in September of 2006. Upgrades: Corbin touring seat, H-D quick detach backrest, H-D chrome luggage rack, Python 3 slip-on mufflers, Mikuni HSR 42 carb, Ness Big Sucker air cleaner, H-D #1 Skull collection on timer, derby and air cleaner cover, Hog tunes speakers, Daytona Twin Tech ignition module. Motor internally stock. Regular oil, transmission, primary changes, every 1500 miles. New OEM Dunlop tires and balance beads installed in July of 2013. New OEM H-D battery installed June of 2013. Small dent in the front fender as well as a scratch in the front fender. $1000 down via paypal within 48 hours of auction end, balance of sale due within 7 days of auction end. Laconia Harley-Davidson and New Hampshire Motor Speedway to Raise $76K for Boys & Girls Clubs in World Record Attempt
Thu, 23 May 2013Laconia Harley-Davidson and New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) have teamed up to make the 90th Anniversary of Laconia Motorcycle Week even more historic through an effort to raise over $76,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of New Hampshire and set a new Guinness Worlds Record. Laconia Motorcycle Week attendees and New Hampshire residents will play a key role in this endeavor by purchasing tickets for a Community Appreciation Parade at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on the final Saturday of Bike Week, June 15th. Participants will have the unique opportunity to ride around the New Hampshire Motor Speedway track, continue on a police escorted, scenic 32-mile ride around the Lakes Region, set a new Guinness World Record and most importantly, raise significant funds for the Boys & Girls Clubs of New Hampshire.
Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley
Thu, 22 Mar 2012Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images and memorabilia donated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “ two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.
