Up for bid is a 2006 FLHRCI ROAD KING CLASSIC. Fuel Injected. It has a new motor with about 6500 miles on it. The bike was still under Warrantee and some gaskets were leaking. It was cheaper and easier for Harley to swap out the motor then to rebuild the original. Unfortunately, the previous owner passed away and I am unable to obtain Paperwork on the change. I believe it was performed by either Antelope Valley HD or Victorville Harley…they may be able to give you information on the engine swap if you purchase it. The bike itself has 36400 miles on it. It runs great and looks great too. New seat and grips. Has a quick disconnect windshield. Also comes with an after market VIP Trunk with passenger back rest. Don’t miss out on a great deal. Louisiana Bill Updates Maximum Handlebar Height Legislation
Thu, 17 May 2012Louisiana state lawmakers have approved a bill that would change the maximum height of motorcycle handlebars. Current state law restricts handlebar height to no more than 15 inches above the seat, a somewhat arbitrary level, but a common choice with 17 other states. The House has voted 87-0 in favor of Senate Bill 582 to change the maximum height to the rider’s shoulder level, as measured while sitting on the seat.
