Harley-Davidson Touring description

Amazing Show Winning Custom Bagger at an Unbelievably LOW RESERVE!

I'll start with the paint. Literally hundreds of hours of paint on this bike. House of Kolor brandywine over silver and red flake, this bike sparkles in the sun like you can't believe. About 120' of hand gold leafing all over the bike. 40 hours of gold leafing alone on the bike and accessories. Take a look at the air cleaner, windshield trim, etc. All the contrast cuts are gold leafed, not to mention the leafing on the bike itself. Windshield is a Klock Werks flare 8.5". Bars are Vinditka 14" Bagger Bars, the engine guard is also Vinditka. Grips and dash inlay are Arlen Ness, the rest of the components are Performance Machine, this is all quality parts on a quality build. No expense was spared.

Performance Machine Parts front to back:

Windshield trim -Chrome with Gold Leaf
Mirrors -Chrome with Gold Leaf
Ignition Cover -Chrome with Gold Leaf
Heel-Toe Shifter -Chrome with Gold Leaf
Footboards -Chrome with Gold Leaf
Brake lever -Chrome with Gold Leaf
Air Cleaner cover -Chrome with Gold Leaf

Stage Three Engine, this bike hauls!

The engine has been bored to 95ci. Tons of engine work:
Flat top forged pistons
Port/polished heads
26G Andrews cams
S&S push rods and HL2T lifters,
Screamin' Eagle hi flow oil pump,
Screamin' eagle cam plate
Mikuni carb and mikuni intake manifold

Lighting:

Custom Dynamics Mega Plasma Rod Lights

Thunderheader exhaust and an Alpine Stereo complete the bike.

The bike rips, and is still a great touring bike.

Harley’s Behind the Scenes at The Art of Rebellion

Wed, 06 May 2009

On February 7th, 2009, at the Robert Berman Gallery in Santa Monica’s Bergamot Station Arts Center, Harley-Davidson gathered 11 of today’s most relevant and exciting artists to present their take on the theme of rebellion. Because the event was so popular, The Art of Rebellion one-night only event quickly became a month long showing. Artwork was for sale and the proceeds were donated to Art Matters, a foundation that assists socially and aesthetically groundbreaking artists.

New Harley-Davidson Sportster for India to Use 500cc V-Twin

Thu, 03 Jan 2013

When Harley-Davidson first entered the Indian market, The Motor Company decided to import existing models as complete knockdown kits for final assembly in the burgeoning market. Considering the average motorcycle in India has a displacement smaller than 200cc, it was inevitable Harley-Davidson would eventually have to produce a small-displacement model rather than rely on its existing product line which currently lists the 883cc sportsters as its smallest bikes. Despite a denial last May by Harley-Davidson India’s Managing Director Anoop Prakash, it now appears Harley-Davidson is set to announce a new small-displacement model to be produced in India at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo next February.

Harley-Davidson Recalls Over 100,000 Touring Models, 1400 Street Models

Wed, 01 Oct 2014

Harley-Davidson has recalled more than 105,000 Touring models from the 2014 model year, and approximately 1400 Street models from the 2015 model year. The Touring models have been recalled due to a possible failure of a component in the clutch master cylinder. This possible failure could cause a reduction in pressure available to keep the clutch disengaged, according to the NHTSA.
