IT HAS A DETACHABLE HOPPE IND FAIRING, DETACHABLE CHOPPED TOUR PACK, AND MATCHING FAIRING LOWERS. THE ENGINE IS A 113 CI (1856 CC), HORSEPOWER INC THROTTLE BODY, SCREAMIN EAGLE AIR CLEANER, LARGER FLOW INJECTORS, RUSH WRATH 2 INTO 1 EXHAUST. THE 113 CI ENGINE HAS ABOUT 15K MILES ON IT. THE TRANSMISSION IS A STOCK 5 SPEED WITH A 27 TOOTH COMPENSATOR PRIMARY SPROCKET FOR LOWER RPMS. FRONT FORKS HAVE PROGRESSIVE SUSPENSION MONOTUBES. Louisiana Bill Updates Maximum Handlebar Height Legislation
Thu, 17 May 2012Louisiana state lawmakers have approved a bill that would change the maximum height of motorcycle handlebars. Current state law restricts handlebar height to no more than 15 inches above the seat, a somewhat arbitrary level, but a common choice with 17 other states. The House has voted 87-0 in favor of Senate Bill 582 to change the maximum height to the rider’s shoulder level, as measured while sitting on the seat.
Harley-Davidson and Brando Estate Settle Boot Suit
Tue, 06 Mar 2012The estate of Marlon Brando and Harley-Davidson have reached a settlement in a civil suit over the use of the actor’s name. As reported last May, the dispute was over a leather riding boot Harley-Davidson sold as “The Brando”. The suit sought an injunction for Harley-Davidson to stop using the Brando name, and asked for unspecified damages.
