THE ENGINE IS A 113 CI (1856 CC), HORSEPOWER INC THROTTLE BODY, SCREAMIN EAGLE AIR CLEANER, LARGER FLOW INJECTORS, RUSH WRATH 2 INTO 1 EXHAUST. THE 113 CI ENGINE HAS ABOUT 15K MILES ON IT. THE TRANSMISSION IS A STOCK 5 SPEED WITH A 27 TOOTH COMPENSATOR PRIMARY SPROCKET FOR LOWER RPMS. FRONT FORKS HAVE PROGRESSIVE SUSPENSION MONOTUBES. 2014 Harley-Davidson Touring Lineup Updated with Project Rushmore Enhancements

Harley-Davidson announced a number of updates to its touring models, a cumulative result of a product development effort the company dubs Project Rushmore. The enhancements cover several areas, addressing performance, comfort, style and infotainment needs, and will be implemented across eight 2014 Harley-Davidson Touring models: the Road King, Street Glide, Street Glide Special, Electra Glide Ultra Classic, Electra Glide Ultra Limited, the Tri-Glide Ultra Classic trike and the CVO Road King and CVO Limited. “Project RUSHMORE has been touched by thousands of people, most of them being our customers and our employees,” says Scott Habegger, Harley-Davidson Director of Motorcycle Planning.

There’s something about sharing in a popular consciousness. Participating in an activity that is also taking place at the same time all over the world adds a special meaning to the event. Begun in 2008 by the Harley Owners Group as Million Mile Monday and renamed and enlarged in 2012 toHarley-Davidson World Ride, this event simply asks all “friends of Milwaukee” to get on their hogs and ride on June 22–23.

Harley-Davidson and Best Western Expand Partnership

Harley-Davidson and Best Western have announced a three-year extension to their partnership which will now expand beyond North America. The two companies have been working together since 2006, providing benefits to customers of both brands. Under the new agreement, Best Western becomes the official lodging partner of Harley-Davidson‘s 110th anniversary celebrations as well as the preferred lodging partner of Harley-Davidson’s rentals and tours division.
