Harley-Davidson Touring description

2003 Harley Road King.  100th Anniversary Edition. Hard Bags

I've owned it since 2010.  The title is in my name, and I have the lien release.

The fun stuff.
Engine:

95ci big bore kit
10:1 Compression
Ported S.E heads (with compression releases)
S&S gear drive and cams
Mikuni Carb
Kuryakin Corsair air cleaner
S.E Ignition
All Balls high torque starter
Full Rinehart true dual exhaust

Accessories:

Dead Center Fairing (one screen fell off a tweeter on a ride, that doesn't effect the sound) has cd/mp3 player
Short tinted windshield (for when you don't want the fairing, but still want some protection)
Badlander seat
Extra HD King and Queen plush seat, with driver's back rest and sissy bar (bolt on not quick release)
Street Glide wheels (new bearings)
Dunlop E3 Tires (2k miles)
2" rear lowering block
Smoked lights
Shorty rear light bar
A bagger brace (I forget which one)

The bike rides great.  It's just time for me to go in a different direction.  The bike shows normal wear, has a few scuffs on the top of the saddle bag lids.    The mileage may change if I ride it again.

Since this is a used bike, I would like to encourage you to personally inspect it before bidding. If you would like to talk to me about it send me a message with your phone number and I will call you as soon as possible. Thanks!

Buyer will need to arrange and pay for shipping.

I may consider a trade for a trail ready Jeep or a street legal rock crawler.

Harley-Davidson Racers Visiting Troops In Middle East

Tue, 19 Nov 2013

A large number of military personnel are also motorcyclists, with many dreaming of the day they can hop back on their steeds after deployment. Harley-Davidson understands this, and in cooperation with Army Special Forces Association Chapter 64, Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines riders Eddie Krawiec and Andrew Hines are joining Summit Racing Equipment and Armed Forces Entertainment November 18-22 for Operation Appreciation, an annual visit to American troops stationed overseas. After three years of visiting American military personnel based in Europe, Operation Appreciation will travel to the Middle East to visit troops in Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain.

Twin-engine pulsejet motorcycle. As you do..

Mon, 21 Feb 2011

The guy behind this twin-engined pulsejet motorcycle, Robert 'Bob' Maddox, fascinates me. He's a cabinet maker by trade but is somewhat an expert in the field of pulsejet engineering and has built a whole host of machines powered by the ever so subtle jet engine. This latest bike is dubbed a Harley-Davidson Sportjet, although it has nothing to do with Milwaukee and I'm not sure why H-D made it onto the tank...

Shelved Harley-Davidson Penster Tilting Trike Prototypes Revealed

Thu, 04 Aug 2011

The Harley-Davidson Museum has pulled the covers off discarded prototypes of a leaning three-wheeled motorcycle developed by The Motor Company. Harley-Davidson commissioned automobile hot rodding legend John Buttera to build the original prototype (pictured above) in 1998. Codenamed the “Penster”, the Trike looks like it could have been an earlier version of the Can-Am Spyder, but it had a tilting front end similar to the Piaggio MP3.
