I PURCHASED THIS 2003 NIGHT TRAIN MARCH OF 2007 IT HAD 5,792 MILES ON THE CLOCK. SINCE THEN I HAVE PUT A LOT OF BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS INTO IT AND JUST OVER 10,000 MILES. IT REALLY HAS BEEN A PASSION FOR ME AND NOW IT'S TIME TO MOVE ONTO ANOTHER PROJECT. I'LL TRY TO LIST ALL I'VE DONE.

  
FOR PERFORMANCE I PUT ANDREWS TW37 CAMS THE LARGEST YOU CAN PUT IN A STOCK TWIN CAM 88. REJET CARB AND SCREAMING EAGLE WIRES. I WANTED TO KEEP IT RELIABLE. THIS WAS DONE 3000 MILES AGO ALONG WITH A NEW BATTERY.I THINK CHOKE NEEDS REPLACING. IT WON'T STAY OUT/ON WHEN COLD. FUEL GAUGE AND HIGH BEAM NOT WIRED. START BUTTON IS WHERE HORN USED TO BE.
  EVERYTHING LISTED FROM HERE WAS DONE 1100 MILES AGO.
1.JOKER MACHINE CHOPPER PIPES (RARE AND NO LONGER MADE)
2.FRONT/REAR BRAKES AND ROTORS.
3.FRONT/ REAR TIRES.
4.PAUL YAFFE THICKY FRONT FENDER.
5.50 FAT SPOKE RIM. INSTALLED RIDE ON BALANCING SYSTEM BUT WOULD HAVE IT DONE THE OLD SCHOOL WAY.
6.ROOTBEER PAINT THAT STILL NEEDS WET SAND AND POLISH. (COULDN'T WAIT TO GET ON THE ROAD) PLENTY LEFT OVER AND WILL GO WITH THE BIKE.
THERE ARE SOME BLEMS THAT WILL POLISH OUT AND SOME THAT PROBABLY WON'T. THIS BIKE DOES GET RIDDEN. NOT A TRAILER QUEEN. SHOWS GREAT AND I GET COMPLIMENTS EVERYWHERE I GO.
7.SINISTER 4" STRETCHED BAGS THAT BOTH HAVE TOUCHED THE GROUND. (NOTHING BAG SAVERS CAN'T FIX)
8.ONE OFF 16" APES BY NASH ( THEY MADE THEM OUT OF 1 1/4" MATERIAL FOR ME)
NO SWITCHES. WANTED CLEAN LOOK. BRAND NEW OEM HOUSINGS AND SWITCHES GO WITH.

SEATS ARE FROM 09 FATBOY LO.
2" LOWERED FATBOY FRONT AND ADJUSTABLE REAR DAMPEN/LOWER.
A TON OF GLOSS BLACK POWDER COATING THROUGHOUT. 
ADJUSTABLE REAR FLOORBOARDS.
REMOVABLE PASSENGER BACKREST WILL EXPOSE 3" OF 1/2" ROUND STAINLESS STICKING UP THROUGH FENDER. NEVER GOT AROUND TO MAKING A SHORT ONE FOR WHEN I RIDE SOLO. PAINTED KRYLON WRINKLE BLACK. (AGAIN IN A HURRY TO GET ON THE ROAD.

Harley-Davidson's Production Stoppage Was Caused by Non-compliant Brake Lines

Production ramps up to meet year-end targets Back in May, Harley-Davidson announced it would temporarily halt motorcycle production due to a “regulatory compliance matter” regarding an unspecified part from a third-party supplier. Harley-Davidson initially estimated the stoppage would last two weeks but it eventually lasted 19 days before production resumed on June 6. The actual cause for the delay remained unclear some speculating the issue was related to the powertrains, as the stoppage only affected Harley-Davidson’s gas engine-powered motorcycles and not the electric LiveWires.

Harley-Davidson Reports Q2 2014 Sales Results

Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $354.2 million over the second quarter of 2014, thanks to a 12.4% increase in sales revenue. Actual motorcycle sales volume stayed about even, however, with unit sales increasing to just 90,218 motorcycles from 90,193 sold in the same quarter last year. Though sales were statistically the same as they were last year, Harley-Davidson generated $1.48 billion in revenue from motorcycle sales alone, up 16.2% from the $1.27 billion reported in the second quarter of 2013.
