Harley-Davidson Touring description

2003 HARLEY-DAVIDSON FLHRPI ROAD KING - F.I. TWIN CAM 88 - 100TH ANNIVERSARY MODEL - 2008 TEXAS RANGER SIDECAR

This 2003 100th Anniversary Police edition Road King with 23,736 miles and a 2008 Texas Ranger Side Car is one good looking rig. This would be a great ride for a disabled rider or anyone who wants to take the whole family along for a ride. Both the bike and side car are in great shape and are very clean and free from any damage. The previous owner has included all maintenance records as well as manuals for both the bike and side car. He also recently installed a new battery and 3 tires less than a thousand miles ago. Features include a Twin Cam engine, 5-speed transmission, 100th Anniversary Chrome Pkg, quick release fairing and windshield, fairing lowers, extra brake lights, Stage 1 air filter, Harley-Davidson Map Down load, Tall Boy seat with rider and passenger back rests, parade fan and lots of fringe accents.

This Harley runs, rides, shifts and looks awesome. The paint on both the bike and the side car are in great shape. The chrome is nice and bright and really shines. The side car was setup right and tracks great. It is very comfortable and fun to ride in. We have priced this rig to sell so call us today with any questions or to get a great deal on this very clean Harley today! Check our feedback and bid with confidence. Thanks for looking and good luck!

Vespa goes back to the future

Thu, 22 Nov 2012

IT'S been a while coming, but the gorgeous Vespa 946 - EICMA 2012's Best of Show - has finally introduced something to the two-wheeled world that our four-wheeled counterparts have had for a while.  I call this 'reverse retro-futurism' - the art of borrowing lines from models past and imbuing them with a sleek sense of future direction (as opposed to retro-futurism, the pre-1960s design trend of depicting the technology of the future. The term 'decopunk' may come close, but feel free to tell me if there's a more exact term.) It's what the New Mini and the New Beetle (both 1997 and 2012 versions) have done so well, and so successfully: building an all-new model as a tribute to a classic, something that's modern yet already timeless, with a widely-appreciated, inclusive aesthetic (and here we eliminate the Plymouth PT Cruiser from the conversation). The biking world is great at retro, indeed thrives on it, but not so good at adding in a taste of the 21st century.

What’s the deal with all those Pink Motorcycles?

Tue, 07 Jul 2009

Picture a Motorcycle in your mind, any Motorcycle. It could be one you own, want to own, one you’ve seen. Can you picture it?  What Brand is it?  What Model, year, how fast does it go?  You can probably picture each of these elements vividly.
