Please note... this is a new endeavor for me... I am not an expert in this field so if you have any questions please ask... be specific with your questions please. I am selling this for a dear friend. The bike has had ONE owner, purchased new in Spokane, Wa. 69K mostly highway miles. 6 trips cross country to S. Carolina and Harley Rallies. 6 trips to Sturgis. Not ridden from October until April, most winters. Always kept in a covered garage. At 62K miles upper end updated with performance ca, gear drive, stage II fuel mapping and 2 into 1 Screaming Eagle performance exhaust. New tires last year from a dealer here in Sarasota. Also a new battery. The bike has never been ridden hard or had any damage. Must sell because of arthritis in my hand and fingers. Bike is in Bradenton, Fl. This is the original paint, it is a two tone silver and blue. No paint touch up, note fenders and bags all have chrome guards. No damage to the guards. The bike has never been down. Mon, 16 Jan 2012A new display in the Harley-Davidson museum in Milwaukee is set to open at the end of this week exhibiting the artwork of the firm's styling chief Willie G Davidson. As well as being the grandson of the original 'Davidson' and in charge of all Harley's styling, it turns out that Willie G is a dab hand with a paintbrush. According to Harley-Davidson, the display will include “idyllic rural landscapes and still life watercolour paintings with strong luminosity and form that hint at time spent in the countryside during 48 years as the pacesetter in motorcycle design.” The firm's museum has also announced other special exhibits planned for later in the year, including “Journey of the Iron Elite: The Evolution of Motorcycle Culture through the Eyes of African-Americans” and “Born to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket” - a 4000-square-foot display dedicated purely to black biker jackets...

Mon, 29 Oct 2012The indomitable Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines drag racing team has set the stage to claim another championship in motorcycle drag racing. Ed Krawiec raced to his ninth Pro Stock Motorcycle win of the season and third in a row at the Big O Tires NHRA Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this past weekend, ensuring the 2012 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle championship title will go to the Harley team. Krawiec now carries a 111-point advantage going into the last round; only his teammate, Andrew Hines, remains as a contender to claim the crown as champ.
Budding Artist and MDA Ambassador Create Motorcycle Painting to Benefit MDA
Sat, 27 Jul 2013Reagan Imhoff dreams of a career in art, and the determined 8-year-old and MDA Ambassador won’t let Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type II get in the way of those dreams. Her parents’ New Berlin, WI, home is plastered with hundreds of her drawings, and a painting of hers sold for $5,000 at the MDA Black-N-Blue Ball in May. Local artist and Harley-Davidson designer Mathew Hintz is encouraging her passion.
