Harley-Davidson Touring description

YOU ARE BIDDING ON 2002 HARLEY DAVIDSON FLHTP-I POLICE WITH ONLY 30K ORIGINAL MILES IN A REAL NO RESERVE AUCTION !

This is a clean officers bike - 2002 FLHTP-I with only 30k original miles. Runs and drives great. This is the fuel injected model and starts right up and delivers excellent power. Harley claims Police bikes are no different but one ride and you know otherwise. This bike was ridden by a high ranking DC officer and saw duty as a parade bike and for motorcades. It received only the best maintenance by highly trained mechanics. (cam chain tensioner has already been done) Tires are about 70%- and a new battery in march of this year. This bike is in excellent overall condition and has only minor scratches. There is a small dimple on the right side of the tank so small it barely shows in pictures. I am selling this police bike in a real no reserve auction to the high bidder.
Good luck bidding !

Off-Road Motorcycle and Free-Ride Bicycle Compared

Thu, 11 Dec 2008

What if anything do bicycles and motorcycles have in common? Besides the whole two-wheel thing, it isn’t outright apparent that these two “handle-barred beasts” share more than ancient ancestry. Modern Off-road motorcycle and Free-ride bicycle designs side-by-side illustrate how much technology the two have in common.

Harley-Davidson Racers Visiting Troops In Middle East

Tue, 19 Nov 2013

A large number of military personnel are also motorcyclists, with many dreaming of the day they can hop back on their steeds after deployment. Harley-Davidson understands this, and in cooperation with Army Special Forces Association Chapter 64, Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines riders Eddie Krawiec and Andrew Hines are joining Summit Racing Equipment and Armed Forces Entertainment November 18-22 for Operation Appreciation, an annual visit to American troops stationed overseas. After three years of visiting American military personnel based in Europe, Operation Appreciation will travel to the Middle East to visit troops in Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain.
