Harley-Davidson Touring description
I have owned several Harleys and ridden so many more. This bike, with all the personal choices I made in putting it together, is by far the most enjoyable ride I have ever been on. The motor enhancements ride height, and overall appearance set it apart from even the factory CVO customs. I was a mechanic at Harley Davidson of Dallas for eight years and am very familiar with different motor "recipes". The combination of pistons, cams, heads, carburetion, ignition, and exhaust that I chose to use on this motor provide a quiet, dependable powerful motor that lends itself to more torque than horsepower. It is truly a pleasure to ride. I took it on a 5400 mile west coast trip shortly after breaking it in and experienced no problems at all. The silver and white accent stripe on the tank blends nicely with the white faced gauges and silver/chrome motor. I did not go "chrome crazy" with accessories on this bike. Too much is sometimes "too much" I believe you should highlight the motor on Harleys and be a little discrete on the overall flash of the bike. Anyway, enough of that. Some more features; 140 rear tire, Harley low profile shocks, genuine leather seat, brand new battery, compression release, hand lapped valves, polished intake, Mikuni 45mm carb, forged pistons, Supertrap mufflers with Mikuni baffles, high output speakers, hideaway saddle bag supports, brake light module,. Most of the other goodies can be seen in the photos. Also comes with chopped tour pack, front lower fairings with pouches, standard height windshield, detachable sissy bar, trickle charger, fairing wind deflectors. Tour pack is mounted to detachable mount and has chrome rack. (you have to have solo seat for this set up) This is not a California bike; it was just registered there while I lived there. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. 805-704-0377.

2015 Harley-Davidson Freewheeler Revealed
Tue, 26 Aug 2014It’s no surprise, as we’ve already seen the spy photos and California Air Resources Board documents, but Harley-Davidson has officially introduced its new Freewheeler trike, adding a second three-wheeled model to go with the Tri Glide Ultra Classic. Whereas the Tri Glide is designed for touring needs, the Freewheeler is more of a cruiser with 12-inch mini-ape-hanger handlebars and bobtail fenders. Up front is a seven-piece nacelle with a dual halogen lamp mounted tight to the 49mm telescopic fork and frame.
