Harley-Davidson Touring description

Up for auction is a 2002 Electra Glide with 15,200 miles.  It is a one owner bike.  It has a 21" scorpion front wheel, with matching rotors, and a scorpion 16x3 rear wheel.  Both tires are Avon Venom tires  The front forks are chrome.  The headlight is a skull adjure headlight.  The turn signals and spot light are blacked out.  The radio is a Kenwood KVT 516 AM/FM/CD/DVD player.  There are six speakers total 2 Alpine 6.5 component speakers in the fairing, 2 Rocker Fosgate 6x9 in the bags, 2 Alpine 6.5 in the lids, 2 8" subs in the bags. To power all of them are 2 Rockford Fosgate PBR 300 W Amps in the bags.  The 88" motor has been bored out to a 95".  The heads have been ported and polished with big valves sprung out to a 650 lift.  The bike has a S&S 585 gear drive.  It has a 45mm Makuni Carburetor.  The exhaust are true duals by Thunder header.  The floor boards are Arlen Ness Long Boards.  There is a LED taillight that is blacked out on it.  The rear has a TJ products 1" lowering kit on the rear.  The bike is in Galesburg Illinois.  This bike is being sold for pickup only.  This bike is for sale locally and we reserve the right to end the auction early.  If you have any questions call Chilly Willy Customs at 309-297-4619.

While on location in the Black Hills of South Dakota, PBS’s Antiques Roadshow stopped by the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum to film a segment on motorcycle toys. In the segment host Mark L. Walberg talks with vintage toy expert Noel Barrett about various American-made, antique, cast iron motorcycle toys. Barrett shares the history of these early toys, some tips about how one might tell a reproduction from the real thing, and offers his valuation on several highlighted examples. Walberg also takes a ride on a vintage Harley-Davidson Servi-Car.

Harley-Davidson‘s rider training program has revamped itself and even changed its name. Now the new Harley-Davidson Riding Academy is the only national rider training program hosted by Harley-Davidson dealerships and conducted on an all-new Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Since its inception in 2000, Harley-Davidson’s rider training program has successfully trained more than 350,000 new riders with a premium Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF)-approved rider training experience that guides students on their journey from the classroom to the street with an emphasis on building student confidence on their road to independence.

The Milwaukee-based company has unveiled its new V-twin, a 131-inch 'crate engine' designed for post-2017 Touring models. Harley-Davidson has not yet had large engines in terms of capacity and power. This behemoth, which looks like a work of modern technoart, is called the Screamin' Eagle Milwaukee-Eight 131.
