Harley-Davidson Touring description

First let me say this. This girl has gotten me across country twice, once from Boston to Anchorage. She has never let me down. She is made for the man who wants to get out on the road and just enjoy the present. I am actually quite sentimental about selling her.

Due to a non motorcycle accident I am not able to ride anymore. Any biker knows this is like having a limb removed.

It has been kept covered for the last 2 years because I just could not bring myself to sell her. Due to this the bike needs some work.

1. New tires
2. A battery is needed
3. A tune up is needed, all fluids flushed and cleaned.
4. Cosmetic damage and rust (see photos)

The last two photos are to show you what she looks like fully packed and in peak condition so you can see her potential.

But here is where this bike is not like any other bike you have ever ridden on. It has been driven, not trailered, in all 49 states, yes including Alaska. Up until two years ago it was meticulously taken care of. It had to be to make it through all those states. After the last trip to Alaska I replaced the belt and the cam tensioner chain to be safe. So those are new.

If you are looking at Harley with some history, I am talking real history this road king is for you. I do have some wiggle room on the price since it will need to be towed away.

To show you how much this motorcycle meant to me and my father I made a short, and I promise you entertaining video on our trip to Alaska. There are two, both show how much that bike meant to us.

If you email me I will send the links of the videos.

CVOs receive 121ci engine, new fairings and inverted forks Harley-Davidson released the bulk of its 2023 lineup about two months ago, but we’re still waiting to here about more models, such as the Custom Vehicle Operations models that will be joining the CVO Road Glide Limited Anniversary. We may not have much longer to wait, as videos of a new CVO Road Glide and CVO Street Glide have popped up on line, revealing some big changes to the CVO models, and perhaps a sign of what to expect for the 2024 lineup. Happy Birthday Elvis!

Fri, 08 Jan 2010

Born on January 8th, 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi, Elvis Aaron Presley would have been 75 years ago today if he was still alive today.  As a tribute to “The King” of Rock and Roll, the Harley-Davidson Museum has created a special exhibit, expanding on the semi-permanent collection from Elvis that has been on display since the museum was opened in 2008. The bill of sale, insurance, and registration papers for the 1956 Harley-Davidson KH pictured above will be on display along with the motorcycle that was owned by Elvis and the Graceland Museum has loaned some rare photos for the occasion. Along with Cadillac’s, Elvis had a passion for motorcycles but especially loved his Hogs and rode Harley’s in many of his films, including Roustabout (1964), Viva Las Vegas (1964), Clambake (1967) and Stay Away Joe (1968).

The 2022 Harley-Davidson Icons Model May Be the Low Rider El Diablo

Tue, 22 Feb 2022

The devil is in the details Earlier this year, Harley-Davidson revealed a new Low Rider ST featuring a FXRT-inspired fairing. Initial reaction to the Low Rider ST was very positive, with Jochen Zeitz, Harley-Davidson chief executive officer, claiming in Harley-Davidson’s Q4 earnings call “demand was so high for this bike that we sold out our first consumer allocation in 10 minutes.” While the retro fairing might not appeal to everyone, one other critique about the FXLRST (and a few other bikes in the 2022 lineup) is the rather drab selection of colors: Vivid Black and Gunship Gray. If you’re looking for a more vibrant Low Rider ST, you may want to wait a bit longer, as Harley-Davidson will be introducing a new variant to be called the “Low Rider El Diablo.” The name appears in vehicle emissions certification from the U.S.
