ORIGENIAL- 2001 HD POLICE FLHTPI TOURING WITH 003167 MILES. HAS A SIDECAR. THE SIDECAR WAS A ADD ON. ALL THE POLICE EQUIPMENT WAS INSTALLED AT THE FACTORY. I BOUGHT THIS BIKE IN 2OO2 FROM A POLICE INSPECTOR IN BERLINGTON CITY NJ. THIS BIKE WAS NEVER IN SERVICE. HE ONLY USED IT IN PARADES. YOU CAN'T BUY A RETIRED POLICE BIKE FROM A DEALER OR AUCTION WITH ANY EQIPMENT ON IT. THE LOW MILEAGE IS DUE TO THAT I FAVORED MY OTHER 2 BIKES. DID RIDE IT TO DATONA TWICE. CAN RIDE IN FL. NOT DISPLAYING THE LIGHTS. KEPT IT RUNNING AND MAINTAINED. MIGHT NEED A TUNEUP. SHOWROOM CONDITION WHEN CLEANED. ALSO GOOD CLEANING TO SHIELDS. MAYBE SOMEONE OUT THERE MIGHT HAVE A USE OR GOOD IDEA FOR IT'S USE. EVERYTHING WORKS. ( LESS RADIO). NEED HARNESS FROM SPEAKERS. Harley Recalls 25,000 2014 Touring Models
Wed, 16 Oct 2013Harley-Davidson is acting quickly to address potential safety issues by voluntarily recalling certain 2014 Touring motorcycles equipped with a hydraulic clutch system that may pose a safety issue for riders and/or passengers. The recalls include a Do Not Ride notice to owners and a Do Not Deliver notice to Harley-Davidson dealers until the motorcycle is fixed. “The safety of our customers is our highest priority,” said Tony Wilcox, Harley-Davidson General Manager of Motorcycle New Product Delivery.
Marlon Brando Estate Files Suit Against Harley-Davidson
Tue, 17 May 2011Brando Enterprises, an operating entity that protects the Marlon Brando brand on behalf of the actor’s family, has filed a lawsuit against Harley-Davidson. The suit alleges Harley-Davidson used the legendary actor’s name without a license for a leather riding boot called “The Brando”. “It is interesting that Harley-Davidson – a company that is vigorously protective of its own brand – would seek to exploit an iconic property without benefit of a licensing agreement,” says Jeffrey I.
